Once they got home, Josh decided to show Tyler his basement.
"Its kind of like a mini recording studio. Maybe you would want to do your first recording of that song? It sounds great."
"Ok, yeah!" Tyler says with the widest smile on his face, "That would sick!"
Josh 's "studio" has a piano, keyboard, trumpet, and an expensive-looking microphone connected to his Mac.
"So, uh, this is it. " Josh mumbled, fumbling with his fingers.
"Dude, this is amazing!" Tyler squealed and ran over to the piano, playing a quick chord. He giggled, and then sprinted over to the microphone and gave it two quick taps.
Josh grinned, momentarily thinking about how cute Tyler looked. "Do you wanna try it out?"
Tyler nodded, but then froze. "Won't your parents get pissed?"
"They left a few minutes before we got home to go on a "date-night". We'll be home alone for about 4 more hours."
Tyler's eyebrows involuntarily raised. "Oh. Ok then!"
Josh suddenly felt super excited.
Why?
He wasn't sure.
'Shut this down, right now. Make Tyler go home.' The voice hissed.
Josh shook his head rapidly and returned his eyes back up to Tyler, who was very busy focusing on Josh 's drums.
"You play?" Tyler smirked, biting his lip slightly.
"Sorta. But-" He saw how happy Tyler looked. "but, I don't have sheet music to play off of."
"How 'bout improv?" Tyler cocked his head, curiously. "I could record my song, and whatever you think sounds good, play it. It'll be fun! Please?" Tyler leaned forward innocently.
Josh also leaned forward, giving Tyler a gentle kiss on the lips. "Fine. That sounds cool."
"Yay!" Tyler jumped up and clapped. "Let's go!" He grabbed Josh 's hand started running towards the instruments.
