*Tara POV*
I threw the door open and hugged Sam. ''Sam, I'm really sorry. I never wanted to let you down and make you feel upset'' I cried infront of a person I love and every tear that was forming in my red and irritated eyes hurted. ''Can we talk this further out, out of the girl's restroom ?'' he asked. I gave him a poorly smile and said: ''Sure''. We went back to the canteen, where we had our big break, and sat down on a clean table.
There was an awkward silence I tried to break it and said ''So....'' ''So what ?!'' he asked. ''Well, how do you feel about all this?'' I asked. ''Well I understand you didn't hurt me on purpose and I understand you had too much going on in your mind the other night, but what is still leaving me with tons of questions is why you kissed me'' he replied. I had no explanation for why I did. ''I have no idea why I kissed you to be honest. I guess I loved you but I didn't know how to say it because, like you said, I had too many things going on in my head. ''loved?'' he looked at me with an upset face. I was getting nervous and red, so i looked to my shoes ''well I still do''. I looked at him and his frown turned into a smile. But I couldn't tell if it was a statisfied smile or if he was really happy. ''I'm sorry I should have---'' I got cut off by kiss. I never realized how soft his lips were. ''I love you too Tara please never forget that''. I could swear my tummy did a 360 when I heard Sam saying those words. ''I love you too Sam.''
*Sam POV*
I finally said it! I finally told Tara how I felt about her and it feels good. Now I need to ask her one more thing...'' Tara, I can understand if you don't want to, but would you like to be my girlfriend?'' I could tell that she was hesitating ''I would love to be your girl'' she smiled and gave me a long hug. I wrapped my arms around her and hold her tight. I wish we could stay like this forever.
*BUZZZ BUZZZ BUZZZ*
''Tara, was this your last period?'' ''Yeah...Oh shhhhhh I didn't go to my art class....If they ask my mom where I was and why I was absent---'' ''Go talk to your art teacher, tell him/her what happened. I'll wait outside''. I stood up and went to the exit when Tara said ''I'm your girlfriend for 5 minutes and I don't get a goodbye kiss'' I smirked and went back and give her her goodbye kiss.
