Jake's POV
I don't know what happened. One minute I was fighting a group of assholes and the next, Max is caring me up to the bounty. "Just stay here. Will be up when it's over." Max said as he ran off the deck. He left me in my bed. I was so weak I couldn't move. I looked down at my arms and saw bruises all over. My head was pounding. I looked out to window to see if they were gone. There... there fighting?! Mary was doing ok and so was Casey. Max was fighting off 2 guys. Elise was fighting Andy and not doing very good. He was twice her size. I needed to help I had to get up. I sat up on the bed, but fell when I tried to stand. "Come on Jake, Stand... UP!" I said to myself. I suddenly felt, powerful. Like nothing I have ever felt before. I looked in the mirror I started to float off the ground and glow with colors like orange and red. "My true potential." I whispered. Suddenly, I felt something, something...unhuman go through me.
When I got back on the ground I didn't feel tired anymore. I looked in the mirror I wasn't human. My body was like a combination of a lion and a wolf, my face looked like a foxes, and I had a long bushy wolf tail. My fur was black like my hair, but my eyes were the same. My claws and teeth were sharp. "The elemental master of animals." I told myself. I like it. I went on the deck; Eric was looking at me scared at first. He walked up and smelled my leg. He looked up at me confused, but waging his tail. I jumped down to the ground ready to help my friends. I landed on the ground right in front of the boys and my back to my friends. "What the hell is that thing?" asked Chase. "I don't know, it's not the problem." Said Andy. I started to get angary again. I let out a loud rawer like lion. They all ran away screaming. I turned around to see my friends staring at me with horror. "What do we do?" Asked Casey. "Stand perfectly still, maybe it will get bored and walk away." Said Max. "Guys, It's me!" I tried to say, but all that came out was growls and barking noises. "I think it's getting angary. Should we fight it?" asked Mary. I didn't know what to do. I ran away to the back of the building. I jumped back on to the deck suddenly becoming human again. I heard the others start to come up so I quickly ran back in bed. "Good, your back." I said acting like I was in pain. "You'll never guess what happened! We were fighting those guys and out of no wear an enormous monster thing shows up! Did you change your clothes?" asked Mary. I looked down. "My ninja uniform!" I thought. "Umm, no I've always had this." I told her. "It shows a lot of skin." Said Casey. It was a black vest with red pants. So my entire chest was exposed. I had a red bandana rapped around my head. "I'll wear a T- shirt when we train." I said. Elise smiled. "What did the monster look like?" I asked. "Did it hurt you?" "It was a little bigger than a wolf, but wasn't a wolf." Said Max. "It also had black fur." Said Mary. I couldn't tell them. It would be to weird. Their friend-that they have only known for a few months- can turn into a monster. Should I tell the ninja? No, I'll tell them when I'm ready.
