Mute

Zane's POV

​I was unsure of what to do, where to go, heck, I didn't know how to find the kid. I thought I should go to the next town over, I wish Sensei would have told us how he knew where to find us and what element we are. I rode on a motorcycle there, it was a cute and small town, kids everywhere. I thought I should look for kid my age when sensei found me, so like 13-15. I went to parks and arcades but, something in my head just kept telling me "Not here" so I kept driving. Then, at same voice in my head just whispered "Stop." I looked to my Right, no one. I looked to my left, no one just trees and bushes. I looked closer and saw a back pack next to a tree. I got off my bike and walked into the woods.
​I heard music, behind the tree there as a teen ager with ear-buds in her ears and a drawing pad in her lap. I could hear the music word for word so it must have been loud. When she saw me she jumped up, look at me closer and smiled. She was wearing a flower pattern dress with a black belt. "Hello" I said "How are you?" She didn't say a word, just stared at me a little in barest. I quickly did a neuro scan. She's mute. She can't talk. I start to use sign language. "I'm Zane, what's your name?" She smiled. "I can hear you I'm just mute and I know who you are. You were one of the ninja. I'm Elizabeth. Yes can call me Elise." She put out her hand for me to shake it, I did. "So why are you out here?" I stopped using sign language. "It's quite. What are you doing?" she signed. Suddenly the voice in my head told me "Her".  I told her everything, about Sensei, about us looking for the new ninja, I also told her how I think she could be a ninja. "No. not me. I can't run fast, I'm not very fit or athletic. It can't be me." She looked in barest again. I ask "Where can I find your parents?

​I never thought it would happen but, I finally got the parents to let her come. 2 down 3 to go.
