Chapter 9: Filming The MV

*Ren Rae's POV*

Today is the day we're filming BTS's new music video. I'll also be finding out what exactly I'll be doing. Because I have no idea. I've been fangirling with Tea and AGUSTDFAN ever since I met up with BTS at the airport. They're as excited as I am. Asking me details about them. How they're like in person. They're pretty much the same as you see them in their videos. They're really nice and funny. Genuine people.

I am closer to Yoongi ever since we started texting and getting to know each other. He reminds me a lot of AGUSTDFAN. Must be because he's such a fan of his. That he can relate to him. Everyone though is really nice. Taehyung especially makes me laugh a lot. He makes any situation or conversation more lively. He seems shy at times but he really does try to push the shyness away. I also really appreciate how much they all try to communicate with me. We end up understanding each other.

It is currently 8 in the morning and I'm tired. I'm totally not used to waking up this early. I'm sitting with Yoongi and Namjoon while the others are roaming around what I think is an empty warehouse. There's a bunch of equipment and sets for the video. It's one of the venues Yoongi told me about. That their managers and music video director had found. I've never been in this area. I'm quite curious as to what the subject of the video will be. And I'm excited to hear the new song, since I haven't heard yet. Which is normal since it's not even out.

"Hey Namjoon?" I slightly turn my body to face him on my left. He lifts up his head and says, "yes?"

"What's the new song about? I'm really curious." He smiles and starts to explain the song.

"It's about losing someone you love."

"Oh, so it's a sad song?" I ask and he nods. So the video could be sad?

"Hello BTS! And hello Lauren Rae." Someone comes up to us with a big smile on his face. We stand up as the other members join our circle. I'm suddenly nervous but still excited to know what we'll be filming.

"I'll explain everything in Korean first, then you and I will talk in English. Okay?" I'm assuming this is the music video director. He smiles and I say, "of course!" I smile back.

He starts explaining the concept of the music video to the guys. I stare and try to decipher what he's saying. I don't understand a thing as I silently laugh in my head. I wish I knew how to speak or at least understand Korean. It would be so much easier to communicate with all of them. He finishes off after a few minutes. The guys seem all really excited and I'm really curious now.

"You did notu understand?" Taehyung suddenly asks me and I shake my head, biting my lip from laughing.

"Okay, well you guys get changed into your clothes and makeup. I'll explain to Lauren what her role in the video will be." The music video director says.

"Okay!" They all say as they walk away. Jimin randomly winks at me as he passes by. I raise an eyebrow and watch them walk away.

"So Lauren.. I'd like to formally introduce myself. I'm the music video director. Basically we're trying to go with the theme of the song. It's about losing someone you love. Since the boys wanted a girl in the video, my assistant and I decided that you'll be the main Protagonist in this MV. You'll be portraying different woman, but also as one woman." I'm the main character in the music video? Really? And I'll be portraying different woman but also being the same person? I'm confused.

"You're confused. Don't worry let me explain. So there's seven members of BTS. You'll be like the love interest, friend or someone close for each member. Each having a different scenario. The boys don't know exactly who they're character will be yet. I'll tell you though." This sounds really exciting! I'm even more nervous than before. I don't even know what he's going to say next but I'm sure I'll be shocked. They're videos all have a meaning. I can't wait to see how this will fit in with the other videos.
