Liar

Chapter Eight.

The others were worried about Uni, he walked around the building knowingly and didn't stop at every place, as if he knew something bad was in store for them if they went inside.

"Uni? You're kinda freaking us out here."Ashlie said as she warily looked around. Uni paused.

"Huh? What do you mean?"He questioned, feigning naivety.

"You seem like you recognize this...creepy place."Nick answered.

Uni bit his bottom lip and grimaced. Uni finally answered with, "I'm just looking around aimless, and avoiding all the places that give me the creeps."

They didn't seem to actually believe him. He was avoiding certain rooms and pausing and staring at the doors of others. He entered a room, he didn't exactly remembered what it was. He was just drawn to it.

They all enter and see desk with papers strewn across it and the floor as well. At the back wall of the room was giant capsules, inside was green, water-like substance. Tubes ran out from behind and onto a control panel. Buttons and levels were all over the metal table and there was a giant TV screen above, the screen was empty and black. Uni tensed, he remembered this, He definitely remembered this.

Uni was half asleep as he was carried in a scientist arms, the man had plucked the child up out of bed and was heading to the lab. Uni stirred in the man's arms, the man smiled fondly, he liked kids, he really did, but he would rather gain the information he was looking for even if it means to harm them.

Uni woke up and he found himself of a metal table, he sat up and saw his regular shirt was removed and replaced with a tight grey tank top and his bottoms were replaced with what seemed like grey swim tights. He looked around frantically in worry to only see a group of five scientist working on what he couldn't even understand was. He soon found a man approaching him, Uni cowered and he tried to wiggle out of the grasp of said man. Uni shouted and whimpered as a green liquid was injected via needle into his arm. Uni's vision went fuzzy, a rebreather was placed over his mouth and nose and the man holding Uni stood on top of a step ladder. The giant cylinder capsules lid was open.

Uni found his vision slightly clearing and the reality of things hitting him like a wave. Uni found himself having a metal shackle attached to his left ankle and dunked down into the water. He tried to swim up but the lid shut and the chain around his ankle dragged him down towards the bottom of the capsule. Uni looked around in fear, the green liquid was more dense that water and he found it more difficult to move his arms around. Uni placed his hands to the glass and smacked it, his eyes filled with fear as he looked as if to be pleading with the men.

They looked away with eye rolls and looked as if they didn't care one bit. A piece of metal slid over the glass, covering his only source of light and vision. He was engulfed in darkness as he tried to scream when the liquid in the capsule stirred around in some way and it bubbled viciously...

"Guys, look at this."Dawn said, snapping Uni back into reality. They all walk over to Dawn to see a chest filled with cobwebs, papers full of notes, and notebooks.

"Look at this one, Experiment 22714"
