Chapter 6 - Secret Powers

I ran down the halls of the palace, making my way to the doors.

I heard footsteps behind me and when I came to the doors I threw them open. Only to be met by more faces, except they were cheering with happiness.

I heard voices behind me and looked back to see the duke and his guards running towards me.

I gasped and ran down the palace stairs and pushed my way through the crowd.

I came to a halt when a man stood in front of me, holding both his hands out, like he was waiting for me to hug him.

"It's you, queen Elsa," he said and I pushed past him, but was stopped again. But this time by a women, holding a child in her hands.

"Your majesty," she said. "Are you alright?"

"No," I whispered and started backing into a water fountain.

I backed into it and gripped my hands onto the mantal, gripping the cold stone.

People screamed and I looked back to see it start to freeze.

I quickly stepped away from it and the water froze, making what looked like a terrifying beast taller than anyone here into the air.

"There she is!" I turned to see the duke and his two guards looking at me and I started backing up.

I shook my hands. "No please just stay away from me. Just stay away!" and ice suddenly came out of my hand and shot to the duke and the guards.

It made the stairs become ice and the duke fell onto his back, along with the guards.

The duke struggled to get up and while he did pointed at me. "Monster. Monster!"

I shook my head and looked down at my hand. I then looked up to see the women with the child try and hide the child from me, backing away.

I looked at a family with two children, the father grabbing the kids by the shoulders and backing up.

I shook my head one last time before turning away from the palace and running through the crowd.

I heard Anna call my name, but I just kept running. My cape flew in the wind while I ran.

I came to the fjord and heard Anna call my name, closer this time.

I looked at the door where I had come in and started backing up to the water.

I heard something behind me and quickly looked, gasping.

The water started becoming ice and I looked back to where I heard Anna's voice, then looked back at the water.

I took a deep breath and carefully placed my foot on the water, turning it to ice and a snowflake appeared.

I looked up to the whole lake and decided to run.

I ran on the water, everytime I took a step the snowflake appeared and the water turned to ice.

"Elsa!" I heard Anna yell but I couldn't bring myself to look back.

I ran and finally made it to land. Once my foot touched the grass, I ran up to the North Mountains as fast as I could run.

I had to get out of Arendelle. Away from the people I could hurt.

Away from Anna, forever.
