Elsa
Why me.......why did this happen to me? There are so many other people in the world that could have this power, but it had to be me. What would my life become? I kept asking myself these things as I lay in my quarters. I kept wondering if my life would get better, if my powers could get better. I was just laying there, it was so early in the morning and I had barely gotten any sleep. But I wasn't tired because I was thinking so much.
"Let's change the subject" I told myself.
What did I have planned for today? I needed to get the paperwork done on some food and cloth shipping, look at the cost for that new chandler that Anna wanted for the dinning room, and maybe learn to cook something new. I could live with the amount of paperwork I had to do, but I was really looking forward to learning to cook new things. Cooking wasn't that hard and I was learning it so quickly. I had so much enthusiasm with learning fascinating new things, and cooking was defiantly one of them. I loved making something new with my own twist on it. I needed to find new things to do to get my mind off all the issues I was having with my powers. A beam of sun fell across my bed and I looked up to see the sun rising over the North Mountain. The sun was so beautiful, so many colours accented it, and it gave birth to so many different forms of life. I sat up in my bed, pulled the covers off of my body, and got up to look out of the window. It slowly crawled over the top of the mountain to shine over Arendelle. I watched for a few minutes more, then heard a knock at my door.
"Your majesty, it's time to get ready" a small voice said behind the door.
I walked into my bathroom to get ready and turned the faucet to run the water in the bath. After a nice, hot bath I walked out of the bathroom to get dressed. I walked to my wardrobe and opened up the big oak doors. I had a lot more clothes now that I was queen and Anna decided to go on a huge shopping spree. I picked out a black long flowing dress with white lace. I really likes lace, how it was so classy and antique. I got dressed and went back into the bathroom. I brushed out my long, flowing white hair and pulled it into a bun. I finished getting ready, then went downstairs to eat the breakfast that had been prepared. I smelled fresh fruit, porridge, and the baking of bread. I walked into the kitchen to see the table already set. Anna and Kristoff weren't in the kitchen yet because they liked to sleep in. I sat down and ate my food in silence enjoying the sweet taste of the meal. When I finished I picked up my plates and went to wash them. I washed them and put them away in one of the many cupboards. I didn't know if I wanted to go outside of what happened the last time, but I loved being outside. I ended up not going outside but to my study to get some work done. I finally got the chandler ordered, and some more work finished on Arendelle's shipping. I almost finished everything I needed to when Anna busted through the door.
"Hi. Elsa. Did you get that chandler I asked you about? Did you?" She asked me with excitement and curiosity in her eyes.
"Yes, Anna, I did. I will make a great addition to the palace" I told her.
"Yes! I did something useful". She cheered with a huge grin on her face.
She was so excited that she ran out of the room cheering and chanting about how awesome she was. I looked back at all the work spread out on my table, then out the window. The sun was now setting, the day was coming to an end. I stated to yawn, not realising how long I had been awake, the day went by so fast, and I didn't even realise it. I wrote only a few more things, than decided it was late enough to head to my room. Before I left the room I walked over to the window and looked over at the beautiful and tall mountains that surrounded Arendelle. They were so lovely and protective, how they keep my kingdom safe. I looked away from the window and went to exit my study. I blew out the lanterns and closed to door to head to my bedroom. I got to my bedroom and started to change into something to sleep in, a simple tank top and shorts. I hung my dress up and closed the wardrobe. I weren't over the window a sat down on the bench in front of it looking up at the millions of stars in the night sky. I made out a few constellations that my mother use to show me, she loved the stars.
I missed my parents, and thought about them everyday, if they were proud of me, if they would forgive me for everything that had happened. I dozed off thinking of when I was little and how my father used to hug me, he was always so warm and loving. I finally got up from the window seat, still looking out the window. I went to walk away but something caught the very corner of my eye, and I whipped my head back to look at it.A/N
