I have always been the middle child, the forgotten one. The child that sometimes gets forgotten when my family go grocery shopping. I have two younger siblings and two older siblings, all guys. Imagine a house of eight, with most of the boys very enthusiastic about sports, and that inclines that no vase goes unbroken. Hence my gorgeous lamp that was a violet purple that I got for my 15th birthday, the guys were playing football and threw the ball directly into my lamp, they hid it for two years.Eli and Gunner , twins and sixteen, are the two most annoying people that live in my house, or maybe the state, heck, let's make it the whole of the United States of America.
Then there is one of the older brothers, Jonah , nineteen and at Yale, and his major is mechanic and engineering studies. And he's got his fiancé Theresa to help him out along the way.
Lastly there is my twenty year old, dead-beat of a brother - at twenty- he is wasting away on alcohol, drugs and thinking he can live his life working at McDonald's, where he is only working at because a friend managed to get him a job. He is so bad that even McDonalds didn't want him. His name is Ryder and he was literally, the best lacrosse player that has ever been in Stray Hills (we will get to the name in a minute). He was being scouted by so many schools, and offered tons of scholarships, since for some reason there is a school somewhere that has a concentration of lacrosse. He was the King of the school, best friends with the lacrosse captain of the rival school, Savior Prep -and his name is Tyler - which meant the schools were no longer rivals, his girlfriend Rachael was the Soccer captain and he had all his life planned out. But one day he got into a fight with Tyler, and Tyler ended up in the hospital for a couple of weeks, he lost his scholarships from missing so much practice, and Rachael dumped him, because he wasn't they guy she fell in love with, and it was true, he has changed completely. He still lives with us, locked away in his room , bringing different hookers from Monday - Sunday.
My parents are the best, they put up with all the stuff that goes on, they never fight , they manage to manage four boys coming and going from the house But their sweet, darling girl is always there to see them say 'at least one turned out alright, right?' Which sadly they have said and then laughed in my face.
Now the meaning of Stray hills. It is called this, because a lot of people to go missing, like strays. I have known a lot of people that have gone missing, my Aunt Mildred, my friend Giles, my cat Robert, and so on. But then again, some people want to go missing, and leave there old lives behind them. If you don't move along form Stray Hills, you seem to get stuck.
That's why, when I'm finished high school in three weeks, and after the summer, I'm moving away to better things, better things meaning Harvard. I'm majoring in theater, dance and media, even though the main priority is dance. It's nice to know that I'm achieving something with my life.

"Hurry the fuck up Rae, we are leaving now!" Gunner yelled, honking the car horn.
"Wait a second!" I shouted back, finishing of my homework due yesterday. "Morons."
I hastily ran down the stairs into the kitchen gripping my bag.
"Bye Mom, bye Dad, love you!" I said, popping my head through the door of their office. I ran out the door, hopping into the back seat, slamming the door shut.
"Aye! I just got that re-painted!" Eli whined, crossing his arms.
"I still can't believe you guys get a car before me, that's not how it's supposed to work."
"It's 'cause we are the Angel children," Eli sighed happily, then giving Gunner a fist bump.
"Maybe Mom and Dad are just saving up for a better car for me," I said smugly, leaning back into the seat.
