"Chloe, I'm out of shampoo. Do you have-" Fat Amy started. "Oh my God. I'm sorry."

"What?" I asked and opened my eyes. Jenna was fast asleep next to me. My arm was around her. I slowly pulled my arm away. "Do you need my shampoo?"

"Please don't tell me you're just using this poor girl to make Beca jealous." Amy said.

"Amy, it's complicated." I said. "Do you want the shampoo or not?"

"Yes." She sighed. I stood up and Amy screamed. "Oh my God!" I looked down and saw I was completely naked. "Red, you've got a smokin' body."

"I'm sorry." I said, rushing to get my robe.

"You better tell her what you're up to. The poor thing loves you." Amy said as she left.

"Jenna, Sweetie." I shook Jenna awake.

"What?" Jenna asked as she opened her eyes. "Did we?"

"Yeah." I said. "I think you should be getting home, okay?"

"Why? Don't you love me?" Jenna asked.

"You're like a sister to me." I explained. "You're my best friend."

"What if I want to be more than that?" She asked.

"I'm sorry. I still love Beca. Although we had a great night together, I can't date you right now." I tried to explain, but she was upset.

"I'm going home. Goodbye Chloe." Jenna said and left the house, saying goodbye to the Bellas on her way out.

I sat up on my bed and thought. What if Beca really didn't want me back? What if I just blew my only shot at true love? I'd never be happy with Jenna though. I was happier with Beca.

---

Weeks went by and every time we had a little party, Jesse was there, kissing Beca. It should've been me! Why wasn't it me?!

It was painful to see how happy they were and how miserable I was. It hurt me every time she laughed at one of his jokes. It should've been one of my jokes she laughed at.

---

"Chloe." Beca sniffled from the doorway.

All of the Bellas had gone out for "singles night" as they called it. They all went out and tried to get each other dates. To them, I was still getting over my breakup with Jenna so Beca and I were the only ones home.

"What's wrong, Becs?" I asked when I saw her red cheeks.

She didn't say anything, but walked in and sat next to me on my bed. I pulled her towards me in a half hug.

"I think Jesse is cheating on me." Beca said quietly.

"What makes you think that?" I asked.

"Last night right after we hooked up, I took his shirt to put on and it had pink lipstick on it. I don't own any pink lipstick." Beca managed to stutter between breaths and tears.

"Maybe it's his." I tried.

"Why the hell would a guy wear pink lipstick?" Beca asked.

"I don't know, I'm not a guy." I said.

"So, you still dating Jenna?" She asked, out of the blue.

"No. We wanted different things out of the relationship so we're just going to be friends." I said, which wasn't wrong.

"Oh. So you're single?" Beca asked.

"Yeah." I sighed.

"I'm sorry." She said. "I'm an idiot."

"You're not an idiot." I said.

"I am. I'm so stupid for breaking up with you." Beca said.

"I deserved it." I said.

"Not at all. I still love you."

"What? You look so much happier with Jesse!"

"I love him too." She sighed. "I don't know what to do."

"You have to pick one of us." I said.

"You're hotter, so I pick you." She smirked and I blushed.

"Does this mean I get to kiss you?" I asked.

"Not if I kiss you first." She smiled and pinned me to the bed.

Everything was back to the way it was meant to be. I was happiest with her and that was the one thing I knew would never change.
