After our final exams,I asked Lola about the matter we discussed together, it was there I knew that Nigerians do blush. She was unable to meet my eyes,I didn't know where the shyness came from. She was playing with her fingers and looking at my sneakers. I don't know what is so fascinating about the sneakers, I have worn it for over a year. I don't know why it hold great interest in her sight. Is it that she does not want to marry me? Has she even prayed about it?Lola,please put me out of my miseries. Answer me now.
Lola's POV
OMG, why is he asking me now? I am turning into a bag of red tomatoes. I have prayed and I am convinced that he is the will of God for me. But then, I want to take my time. You get what I mean: like playing hard to get when your hearts have found each other, lol.
Well,let's see how it turns out to be. Hmmmm,Tolu,you see it is not as if you are not all I want from a man but it is not my will but the Lord's and I want you to understand that whatever you cannot solve on your feet,you go on your knees to pray about it. This relationship thing is no longer in my hand, I have found the perfect will of God.
Tolu's POV
I don't know where this fear come from. Many thoughts begin to run on my mind . What if she does not like you? I mean you are not the best around. What if she is now engaged? What if she does not want to marry her course mate who is only months older than she is?
The Lord has not given you the spirit of fear but of sound mind ..., thank u Holy Spirit. When I heard those words, my fear subsided. Whatever you want to say, I am ready. I have prayed and I have received from God. If it is God,then it is God.
