Lola's POV
I have never thought that my dad could be heartless. The Bible that says 'the heart of man is evil who can know it?' did not lie. How can a father decide to bring tears to his daughter's face on her supposed day of joy? Well,my father did. All the respect I had for him disappeared.
I demand an explanation, I cannot just fold my arms and watch my life lie in ruin.
He was talking to my mom when I barged into their room,courtesy be damned! I need to know what is going on in my life. He sat me down and after I finished listening to his story,I couldn't stand up;my legs refuse to cooperate with me. So much for time wasting,from all he has said I don't think there is any hope for Tolu and I. But I believe in His promises. Psalm 42 verse 11 rang in my ears and so I began to thank God for his mercy and grace thus far.

I called Tolu but I guess he is afraid to pick my calls. I then messaged him and urged him not to forget that His word is yea and Amen.

After two days,I decided to visit Tolu. I haven't heard from him from the introduction day. When I got to his house,I was informed that after meeting with his father ,Tolu refused to come out of his room;he locked himself up. He has not eaten anything since that fateful day. I told Bolu to follow me and we both went to his room,we knocked and when he heard my voice,he hurriedly opened the door.
I checked the room and I was not pleased. I told him to clean up the room while we wait downstairs for him.

Minutes later, he freshened up and joined us. Afterwards, we decided to discuss in the garden with Bolu. Bolu was on the left side while we were on the right side. He then explained everything to me and from his own perspective, my father is as guilty as his. When I gave the account of what my father told me,there were some questions that needs to be answered.

We then fixed a meeting with our parents and the Richards.
