The Mysterious Girl (A Magi x Reader fanfic)

Prologue

Panic spread throughout the town...people were running rampant...some would say that, in that moment, when the Obelisk of Cepherith had ended her life, all hell had broken loose. Tired of not living up to everyone's standards and unable to fufill her own 'selfish desires', she and her loved one, ended their lives together. Without an Obelisk, Cepherith would fall, and there was nothing anyone could do.

The new Obelisk was to be picked by the Crown of Cepherith. If the person who entered the Crown Room made it out alive, they were to be the next pillar, unfortunately, the news of a new Obelisk has yet to reach the ears of the town. While the panic spread below, a small, childlike figure, watched from above. Prefering not to get involved in any of the commotion on the island. She had too much to think about. She thought of revenge, yet her 'parents' had taught her to be patient and wait for the right time. She would soon strike, and end her own misery.

While in town, the young child had heard from the officials of the palace who were recruiting people to try and become the next Obelisk. An untold truth laid out for all to hear. A wish was to be granted to the next Obelisk, it would be a wish of unlimited desire. Whatever the wearer wished, would come true, no matter how selfish.

Suddenly a burst of light came from the palace of the Obelisk, and a burning sphere was hurtling through the sky towards the young child. A figure appeared infront of the child, along with the Crown of Cepherith.

"The Crown has chosen a new Obelisk."

Okay... So I know it's been like, forever since I updated,

BUT PLEASE DON'T BE MAD!! MY FRIEND/EDITOR WAI HAS BEEN PRACTICING SO LONG FOR MERRIE MONARCH AND SHE JUST GOT BACK FROM IT!! AND I DIDN'T WANNA PUT ANY MORE STRESS ON HER BECAUSE I NOTICED HER GRADES WERE FALLING A LITTLE BIT BECAUSE SHE WAS TRYING TO BALANCE ALL OF THIS AT ONCE!! AND ALL I'VE BEEN THINKING ABOUT LATELY IS WRITING A FANFIC OF MAGI X READER AND I DIDN'T KNOW HOW IT WOULD TURN OUT BECAUSE THIS WAS MY FIRST FANFIC!! AND I'M SORRY ABOUT THE OTHER BOOKS!! I'LL TRY TO UPDATE SOME OF THOSE AS WELL, I JUST WANTED TO GIVE WAI A LITTLE BREATHER FOR A BIT BECAUSE MERRIE MONARCH JUST ENDED AND SHE DID SO WELL AND SHE WAS SOOOO BEAUTIFUL!!!!

*sighs* okay, there I said it. Once again Iʻm sorry about the updates, but I'm going to try and update THIS ONE again tonight, since I don't have much homework, but for now I gotta head to dinner so, Good Bye for now my non-existent readers ^-^.
