I was preparing for the day. It was early morning and no one was awake yet, not even Judal. So, I walked out of my room and found my way quietly to the kitchen. I prepared food in a basket that I found lying around the kitchen. I gathered ingredients to make sandwiches and also made the peach pastries that Hakuryuu taught us how to make yesterday. I also grabbed a variety of fruits for breakfast obviously throwing in multiple peaches. I grabbed some (favorite fruit) out of a bowl and placed everything neatly into the basket. I grabbed some containers and filled them with water, then placed those as well in the basket.
I used some cloth and paper to wrap the sandwiches and carefully placed them all on a soft blanket in the basket. I'm pretty sure the blanket I found in the kitchen was actually a table cloth, but it was extremely soft for something that was meant to get dirty. I closed the top of the basket and went to the peach tree. I carefully climbed the tree as the sun began to rise upon the peaceful town of Sindria. As I watched the sunrise I grabbed a (favorite fruit) out of the basket and ate it. I was almost finished by the time the sun was fully out and the Sindrian palace was bustling with maids and other workers who were beginning their long day of service.
I had told Aladdin and the others that I would not be teaching them today because of personal reasons. They looked at me weird but I'm pretty sure their faces would have held more than shock if I told them I would be spending the entire day with Judal. Speaking of him, guess who tried to push me off my perch while I was finishing my fruit. The black magi himself. Note that I said 'tried'. I was getting ready to go and look for Judal and when I stood up was the same time he flew forward. He stopped not to long after he realized that he had failed his mission and turned to pout at me. "Oh come on! How'd you know I was there?!" he whined. "I didn't, but I'm sure you wouldn't make a very good assassin if you whine after every time you fail." I said as I hit the tree trunk. His face was confused but soon morphed into anger when a peach fell from the tree and onto his head.
So, the morning started with Judal's screaming. Eventually he had calmed down and I hopped on to his flying carpet, well I think it's supposed to be a turban similar to Aladdin's, but he calls it a carpet. We flew over the now bustling town of Sindria and soon we were flying over the open water. Judal was standing by the edge and I was sitting down on the edge with my legs hanging over the side. Everything was going smoothly until I suddenly started to fall. I had realized what had happened. 'That obnoxious, peach loving, little-! He pushed me off the carpet!' I thought angrily.
I was still falling and the water was getting closer. Not really that I cared, I mean I can swim, but the food basket was falling with me...and the food was falling out of it. "Judal, if you want the food I made you're gonna have to catch it." I yelled to him. The food was above me since I was heavier and I was ready to start swimming when a pair of strong arms caught me. "You know I said you needed to catch the food, right?" I asked him with a blank stare. "Yeah, but I thought I'd catch you first." he said smirking as he continued to hold me.
"You can put me down you know." I said. "Don't wanna." he retorted. "Fine. You're such a child sometimes." I sighed as the basket fell into my arms. Not long after the basket came, the blanket slowly floated down into the basket, and then the rest of the food piled into the basket almost as neat as it was before. Except for one peach that fell on Judal's head before it fell into the basket. "Goddammit! I can't be around you and peaches at the same time! It just spells peaches in my face! And not in a good way!" he complained. "Well technically the last two fell on your head not in your face." I said in a matter-of-fact tone. Judal mimicked me like a child would to their sibling.
Judal's P.o.V:
"I can't believe that I can't be in the same place as the two things I like the most." I mumbled as I put her down. "What was that?" (Y/N) asked as she was fixing up the already neat basket. "I said, I can't believe that you packed so much food. Like, who needs that much food?" I lied. "Well, we're going to be on your island for the whole day right. So I packed some breakfast for you since you didn't eat anything, and I packed lunch, dinner and desert." she said as she closed the basket once again. "Oh, right." I answered as the carpet moved again in the direction of the island.
