The bus finally stops and we get off.
"So what cabin number are we?" I ask pointing to Butch. Momoko gets out gets out her phone and sees that she has a message.
She clicks it and it starts flashing. Momoko drops her phone in surprise. Brick picks it up and reads it.
"Whose Sakamoto?" He asks raising an eyebrow. Momoko's eye go wide and she snatches the phone back.
"Why would Randy message you?" Miyako asks using his real name.
"Whose Randy?" Butch asks.
"A creep who can't get over Momoko," I say shrugging but I know I'm smirking. "Momoko likes him back." I add.
Momoko gasps and glares. "I do not like him!"
"Then why isn't he blocked on your phone?" Miya asks smiling. Momoko blushes but doesn't have an excuse.
"Exactly," I say smirking. Is it just me or is Brick getting red in the face.
"Whatever! So what if I like him?" Momoko questions, big mistake.
"Omg! Momoko-San has a crush! Her first crush!" Miya says grabbing Momoko's arms and twirling her. Momoko try's to escape from Miya's tight grip but it's not that easy.
"Miya your crushing me!" She gasps. She let's go just enough for Momoko to scramble away. She picks up her cap, which had fallen off when Miya grabbed her and places it back snuggly onto her head.
"Kao and Butch are cabin 2a, Miya and Boomer are c4, Brick and I are d5." Momo says.
"Well I'm gonna go unpack. See you girls at mess hall!" Miya says waving and walking away.
"Well I'm gonna go test out my bed, see ya!" Momoko says yawning and walking away.
"I'm gonna unpack, come on Fido," I say. Butch looks at me weird.
"Fido?" He asks.
"Yeah, you know like a dog," I sigh. How stupid can one guy be.
"Haha nice one! I'm gonna go unpack, see ya!" Brick says walking after Momoko.
"I should catch up with Miya, see you soon!" Boomer says walking away.
"Let's go!" I shout and run towards my cabin. I was about to look back to see if he was following when he shot past me.
"Catch me if ya can!" He shouts back. I growl and push ahead.
When we got in the cabin and settled I laid down on my bed.
"So, I heard your the soccer queen?" Butch said leaning against the frame of his bed.
"Yeah, you could say that," I say shrugging and smiling. Wait, smiling? Oh god this guy is messing with my head! A burst of thunder interrupted my thoughts.
"Aaaaaahhhhh!" I scream and jump into Butch.
"Whoa! You ok?" He asks. Oh great he's holding my arm.
"S-sorry!" I say and get off his lap, but he grabs me and keeps me there. Suddenly the lights flicker out. Oh great.
"Are you afraid of thunder, Kaoru?" He asks.
"What! No, what gave you that idea?" I scream as it thunders again.
"Oh I dunno maybe the fact that I can't hear out of my left ear anymore," Butch says casually.
"Haha. Let go of me," I growl. I shudder but suppress the scream as it thunders again, this time louder.
"Only if you admit your scared," Butch says in my ear. I shudder.
"No," I say. He sighs and wraps his arm around my waist. I stiffen at his touch.
"Alright then, get comfortable," He says grabbing my hand. If my cheeks get any hotter I'm sure they would melt. Suddenly I'm very thankful the lights are off.
After a while I'm beginning to cramp in the awkward position.
"Butch, can I please get off?" I ask. His hair brushes against my cheek as he shifts me into a comfortable position. He smells distinctly like pine needles. It reminds me of the forest by my house.
Suddenly my head is laying on his shoulder. I don't even know how we got into this position, but I don't want to move. Not for a long time.
