'people change, memories don't

"Maybe you just need to forget about him and focus on the new guy I saw you bump into in Tesco" Willow said to her friend.
"Maybe I just need to get a job and get away from this place."
Ava looked at her friend and saw the familiar look in her friends eyes.
"Ava, you know how you said you wanted to go to London.."
"Yes willow" Ava knew what was coming next.
"Well, we could always go stay in a flat near my uncle blair" she suggested.
Ava knew it wasn't a bad idea. But she wasn't sure if she was capable of doing it.
"Willow, it's a great idea and all but.."
"You're just not sure, I know I know. But it means getting away from here and starting fresh!" Willow said as she sat down on Ava's crumpled up bed sheets.
Ava thought about it and ran a hand through her hair.
"I guess we could do it."
Willow fist pumped into the air and cheered.
"But I have to let my parents know first."
Willow groaned. Ava rolled her eyes and walked downstairs into the kitchen area.
"Mum, dad" she said as she saw them both sat up at the island.
"I'm moving out"
"Oh okay" her mother said, her gaze fixated on her magazine.
"I'll be gone Thursday."

Thursday came by quickly and soon enough Ava was ready to leave. She left without saying a goodbye and giving a fück.
"London baby!" Willow shouted in the car.
"Well slough" Ava corrected her friend.
"Whatever."
"3 hours and we will soon be there."
Ava smiled and put her headphones on.
"maybe this change is what I need."
