Our LOVE is still strong! (Book 3)

"Cash'Mere and Jay'Mere!! Come here now!" Melodi yelled calling her four year old twins into their room.

"Yes" they both answered at the same time.

"Explain this." Melodi said as she pointed to the writing on the wall. Melodi waited with her hands positioned on her hips. She watched as the twins looked at each other for an answer.

"Don't be looking at each other. This writing didn't just appear on this wall itself. Who did it?"

"He did it" They both said at the same time and Melodi knew when they did that it wasn't even no use in asking them again because she was gonna get the same reaction.

"Really y'all I should make both of y'all take a damn nap. y'all know better. I did not pay all that damn money to get this room like it is just so y'all can write on shit. Get out my face before I change my mind." Melodi said as she watched the twins run out the room.

"Good job" Melodi heard the twins say as they ran downstairs and Melodi couldn't do nothing but laugh. She loved her boys but they were bad ass hell.

"Aslyn?" Melodi said knocking on her room door she noticed Aslyn didn't come out her room all morning and that wasn't like her. She would always greet her mom with a good morning kiss. Aslyn was now thirteen and was every spitting image of here father. She was such a good child.

"Why are you still in bed baby its 11:30. Are you okay?" Melodi asked sitting at the end of Aslyn's bed.

"Yea I'm fine I'm not feelin well,that's all."

"Do you want me to get you something?" Melodi asked touching Aslyn forehead.

"No mom I'm fine. I'm tired" Aslyn said removing her mom hand.

"Okay fine then I'll be back up here to check on you." Melodi said getting off the bed. Melodi was about to exit the room until she saw Aslyn had dirty sheets pushed off in the corner. Melodi decided to grab them since she was about to wash anyways. But Melodi stopped as she noticed the reason Aslyn was distant.

"Aslyn" Melodi said looking at the sheets.

"Yess mom?" Aslyn answered as if she was annoyed by her mother.

"Don't answer me like that, and when did you start your period?" Melodi asked as she noticed Aslyn sitting up in the bed with her knees pulled to her face.

"This morning" Aslyn said with her head down.

"Why didn't you come tell me?"

"I don't know mom. I was embarrassed."

"Really Asy this ain't shit to be embarrassed about its life all women have to go through it. Its just another way of letting you know that your body is maturing. You most likely will receive it once a month."

"I didn't know what was happening to me" Aslyn said as she looked at her mom.

"Its okay baby. Its just closer to that time for your father and I have the birds and the bees talk with you. "

"Mom really."

"Yes really go hop in the shower and I'll be back up here, because it's to damn quiet and that's letting me know thing1 and thing2 is doing something they ain't got no business doing." Melodi said getting off the bed.

"Hey mom!"

"Yes?" Melodi asked turning around.

"I love you."

"I love you to Asy." Melodi grabbed the sheets and tiptoed downstairs. She wanted to catch the twins in action so they wouldn't pull that stunt they pulled earlier.
