"Nina I'm so scared I don't know what to do. What if my baby don't make it. Omg!" Melodi said as she laid in the hospital bed. Melodi was freaking out her head was wondering everywhere. She couldn't believe she had allowed Rashawd to get her so worked up that she forgot about the baby's health.

"Mel baby calm down." Nina said as she rubbed her arms as the doctor walked in.

"Okay Mrs. King we're going to schedule an emergency C-section. I've checked and the baby is fine. Shes still an healthy baby but I told you to be careful you're very high risk and if this would have happened a month or a couple of weeks ago there would've been complications but due to that you're almost full term it didn't affect the child. But the only thing is we have to do the C-section right away. You're only allowed to have one person in the room. I'll go and get ready and when I get back it'll be time." The doctor said as he walked out.

"Nina OH MY FUCKING GOODNESS NINA I Don't want to be cut!"

"Mel calm down it's not bad I had it with Domonic. You won't feel a thing." Nina said trying to calm her down.

"Nina what if they cut the baby by mistake." Melodi said as she burst out in tears.

"I'm about to go get your dad and Rashawd." Nina said as she walked out the room. She couldn't calm Melodi down so she went to go get the men.

"Mel baby calm down ain't nothing going to happen to Aubrei or you. Just calm down baby please." Jerald said kissing her forehead. But that didn't help.

"Daddy I'm sorry. I'm such a bad mother how could I have been that selfish not to think about the baby. Daddy I can't do this." Melodi cried. Jerald was hurting to see his daughter like this.

"Jerald can you give us a minute? " Rashawd asked and Jerald walked out.

"Look Mel I'm sorry! I know you didn't want this to happen and if I had of been there for you we wouldn't be in this situation. I love you baby I do and the kids do to.

You're such a wonderful mother and a loving wife, and it was my fault that I didn't appreciate that. Mel baby you can hate me all you want but please allow me to be there for you and Aubrei."

Rashawd words actually calmed Melodi down. She knew Rashawd was sorry for what he had done. but she couldn't place the blame all on him, because she knew she wasn't doing her job as a wife and that caused her man to wonder for attention. Melodi didn't say anything as she stared at him.

"Okay Mrs. King lets get this show on the road. Did you choose who you want to be in the room?" the doctor asked.

Melodi shook her head yes as she grabbed Rashawds hand.

"I love you Mel."

Melodi didn't say anything as she closed her eyes and said a quick prayer for her and her unborn.

2months Later......

"Aslyn can you hand me Aubrei's bottle off the table?" Melodi asked as she noticed the baby was becoming cranky, she looked at her watch and noticed it was close to her feeding time.

"Here ma." Aslyn said as she looked at the tv.

"Aslyn you gone have her spoiled if you keep taking her out her bed at night and having her sleep with you. I ain't deal with no cry baby and I'm not starting now." Melodi said as she placed the bottle into Aubrei's mouth.

"Ma I'm sorry I just got attached to her sleeping with me. Fine instead of me taking her out her room I'll just go sleep in hers." Aslyn said laughing.
