chapter 6

"Cash'Mere come lotion my feet please." Melodi asked as her and the kids were getting ready for her babyshower her dad and Nina was throwing for her.

Melodi was now eight and half months and she was beyond huge and it was hard for her to do anything. The twins actually became more helpful when they found out that Melodi was having a girl. They thought it was cool to be a big brother and they helped Melodi with a lot. Aslyn on the other hand was more distant she stayed with her grandpa alot. She didn't like to be home alot especially when her dad came home because all Melodi and Rashawd did was fight. Rashawd actually slipped up and had an affair on Melodi. Well I wouldn't call it an affair but it was pretty damn close. Rashawd said it was because Melodi was pushing him away and she wasn't catering to his needs. He ended up telling Mel about the kiss he shared with this other woman and it made Melodi very angry. She even put him out for a whole month, but she allowed him to come back because the twins missed him and she needed his help. But thats it she only wanted his help. She didn't want his love and affection because she felt as if he didn't want to give it to her. They even slept in separate rooms. Melodi was hurt but she knew she couldn't let it get the best of her because Melodi was high risk and going into early labor could cause complications with the childs birth so she had to take it extremely easy.

"All done mommy!" Cash'Mere said as he got up.

"Thanks baby now go tell your brother to come on so we can go." Melodi said as she stood up and walked to the mirror.

Melodi decided to do an all white maxi dress with gold and pink accessories to match her baby shower theme. Grabbing her gold Gucci bag Melodi met the boys at the front door.

"Mommy is daddy gonna be there?" Jay'Mere asked, the boys haven't seen their dad in two weeks since Melodi kicked him out the house again. She ended up going through his phone and found him conversating with the same chick he kissed.

"I don't know baby." Melodi said answering truthfully.

It didn't take them long to get to her dads. When Melodi pulled up her dad driveway was full of cars.

"I guess yo daddy is here." Melodi said as she noticed Rashawds Rover parked out front.

Melodi turned around and noticed both of the twins were knocked out sleep. She laughed to herself at how fast they would fall asleep.

"Mom where are you everyone is waiting on you." Aslyn said through the receiver.

"I'm out front tell your grandpa to come get the boys they fell asleep."

"Okay." Aslyn said hanging up the phone. Melodi turned the car off and grabbed her bags.

"Ma do you need help with anything?" Aslyn asked as her and Rashawd came to help. Melodi didn't notice Rashawd until he asked Mel to unlock the back door.

"Aslyn I thought I told you to tell MY dad to come help me ion remember saying Aslyn tell YOUR dad to come help me." Melodi said rolling her eyes. She was still mad with rashawd because she felt as if he was trying her because she was pregnant and that pissed her off. She wanted to get on his ass so bad but that baby was stopping her.

"Ma really? "

"Don't really me, help your dad with the boys and give me my purse." Melodi said taking her purse out Aslyn's hand and walking into the the house.

The house was decorated in pink white and gold balloons. Melodi sat her stuff in dads room and made her way out back where there was more decorations gifts and alot of people.

"Hey dad!" Melodi said walking up to her father.

"What's up baby...ohhh Mel girl you getting big as hell."
