Melodi was furious, she couldn't believe someone had her daughter and it made her mad because they didn't leave any clue. Melodi ran back into the after party with tears flowing down her face.

"What's wrong baby? !" Rashawd got up to catch her before she fell. By this time all eyes were on them.

"Mel what's going on? Where's Aslyn?"

"They took her Rashawd!!! Somebody took my fucking baby!!!" Melodi said as she screamed.

"What do you mean someone took her!"

"Rashawd' s she's gone." Melodi said handing him the paper. Rashawd grabbed the note and quietly read it. "FUCK!" Rashawd cursed as he hit the table.

"Melodi baby calm down we're going to find her." Jerald said.

" How daddy with no fucking clue. She could be hurt right now!"

"Jerald come roll with me." Rashawd said as he walked out. "Mel call the cops and talk to them."

Melodi shook her head okay as she tried to get her breathing back to normal.

Two weeks later.....

Aslyn had been missing for two weeks now. There were no signs of her and no extra clues. It had Melodi sick to her stomach. She wasn't able to eat or sleep. Her and Rashawd decided to move in with Nina and Jerald just until things calmed down and to also get help with their other kids. Melodi had been crying for two whole weeks. She couldn't imagine her child being dead.

"Here Mel eat this." Jerald said as he gave her a bowl of soup. Melodi just sat there dazing out of space.

"Dad it's been two weeks. They said we had 48hrs daddy she could be dead." Melodi said as she burst out in tears.

"Melodi calm down and dont think like that." Jerald said rubbing her back but Melodi didn't give a fuck she didn't want to here that she wanted her baby back.

Just then Jr.,Rashawd, Shawn, and David walked through the front door.

Rashawd had been looking for Aslyn none stop. He tried his hardest to be strong around Melodi and the kids,but he did have his moments where he punched a few walls and broke a few vases he also had his moment where he couldn't stop crying where he cried himself to sleep. Aslyn was his everything and he loved that little girl.

"You ight sis?" Jr. asked Melodi as she wiped her tears. Melodi answered him truthfully and shook her head no.

"Sis we gone find her I promise. I got a couple of my homeboys on the look out and word on the street some woman took her." Jr. said as he informed Melodi with the news he had received.

Melodi head quickly shot up. "What woman?"

"I don't know baby that's what we've been trying to figure out." Rashawd said as he sat down by melodi.

"Rashawd I want my baby back."

" Melodi I know we all do."

"Jr. you aint seen no lady at your school out of the ordinary?" David asked him as he rolled up a blunt.

"Naw not really. That school big so I ain't....Wait!" Jr. said jumping up.

"What is it?" Melodi asked.

"It was this chick Aslyn was telling me bout. We were at lunch and said this lady kept staring at her. But I aint think nothing of it cause when I looked up, it was a young chick like she was in her mid twenties or something."

"Did she say something to y'all?"

"Naw she just kept staring. I thought maybe because it was a table full of guys. But then Aslyn told me she seen the chick again when she was walking to my car. Like she was following Aslyn or something, but she stopped cause my homeboy sidetracked her."

"Jr. why you ain't tell us this before? " Mel asked.

" Because I had forgot and the chick looked harmless. And Aslyn aint say nothing else about it."

"Yo homeboy what's his name?"

"Trap, Y'all want me to call him over, maybe he know something about the chick." Jr. asked taking out his phone.

"Yea call him now" Rashawd said hitting the blunt while Melodi just stared at him.

Jr. got up and walked in the kitchen while he called his homeboy. Melodi waited patiently for an answer.

"Rashawd let me hit that." Melodi asked reaching for the blunt.

"Melodi you don't smoke."

" Rashawd just give it to me!" Melodi yelled as she was getting impatient.

Rashawd took another pull before he passed it to her. He watched as Melodi put the blunt to her mouth and took a pull from it.

"He said he's on his way over." Jr. said taking a seat.

"All we can do is wait, wait and just hope my baby is okay. And when we find her I wanna find the bitch who took her and I want her to suffer. I wanna cause that bitch pain. I wanna kill her." Melodi said hitting the blunt again no one said anything as they sat and watched Melodi's heart turn cold.!

Okay this book is taking flight and the real drama is about to take place. ! Melodi aint so nice any more and she's ready to kill! But who is this mystery woman?????
