Chapter 3

Rihito went on some kind of butler's meeting or something so I was alone. Other girl's told me to get the class materials. They even drew me a map because I wasn't familiar with the school grounds. I hope you sense my sarcasm. Why would they draw a map for me? I didn't know so I just folowed it until I had to go into the forest. I saw six pillars with crests on them.

"Why should the materials be here?" I said to myself.

I went to the pillars that stood there making a path. I went to get a closer look but then they started falling one by one. I had to walk backwards and fell into a trap.

I knew it.

Sand came into my eyes so I couldn't see a thing. I heard girl's giggling. One of them said tat they protect the order of St. Lucia.

"You don't belong here."

"Don't get cocky just because an S-rank butler is with you."

"Shibata Rihito is just doing his job."

These were the things they said before they poured some liquid over me and wanted to set it on fire.

"Stop it!" I screamed at them "This prank is getting out of hand."

"We're totally serious." one said and threw a lightned lucifer beside where the liquid was. I screamed scared and shocked as I tried to crawl away but I didn't know where. My legs hurt from the fall and I still had sand in my eyes. Luckily the lucifer went out what meant that it was just water. I sighed in relief.

"This was just a warning. You should hurry up and leave this Academy." one said and they walked away.

"Well... These pranks are on another level." I sighed getting the sand out my eyes. When I was done I tried to stand up but my legs hurt very much so I just sat there. Thinking about everything what's happened until now. After a few minutes I gathered my courage and crawled out of that hole and just silently walked home. It rained most of the way and I liked it. When I got back to my room I saw Rihito walking nervously all over the place. Probably looking for me. He was walking outside so I called out to him.

"Oi, Rihito-kun!" I yelled and he immediately ran to my side.

"Mei-sama! What happened?" he asked scanning me, looking for any injuries.

"I'm alright!" I giggled "I just didn't feel well so I thought about going home early but I couldn't find you anywhere so I decided to walk." I smiled.

"I'm terribly sorry. Because I wasn't there you had to go through so much trouble." he bowed.

"It's alright. This has nothing to do with you." I looked at him and set him straight. Otherwise he wouldn't have stopped bowing. "Now! That's a lot better. You don't look handsome when you bow." I stretched although every part of my body was aching. "After all that walking I'm in mood for a bath!" I smiled at Rihito "Should we go inside?"

Rihito prepared a bath for me and I went straight to the bathroom locking the door immediately. I started sobbing silently the minute I got there. Honestly I thought I might just burst into tears by Rihito. But I didn't want him to feel sorry and uncomfortable for what happened. I then took my bath and went straight to bed. But before that Rihito came in with some sandwiches. I wasn't in a mood for eating.

"Come here." I patted the bed beside me. Although a little uncomfortably he did what I asked. "Here." I handed him one of the sandwiches.

"But Mei-sama-." he protested.

"If you don't eat it we'll have to throw it away and that's a waste of your work." I smiled at him and he put the sandwich back. He stood up and looked at me while standing. He then crouched and touched my right wrist. I whinced in pain.
