A Malumy chapter

-----

After English was over the pink-haired boy was on his way to P.E. Michael didn't like anything having to do with being physical. But he wanted his mommy to be happy and she was happy when he had straight A's, so he tried his best in that class.

Michael sat down on the gym bleachers first as he was ten minutes early and it was the fifteen-minute break that people spent talking with friends, using the bathroom, or eating.

But Michael just went straight to class. The green-eyed boy greeted his gym teacher, Mr. Hood, with a small smile. "H-Hello.."

"Hi there Michael," Calum said cleaning up the gym a little. Balls were scattered all over the gym.

"D-Do you n-need a-any help, M-Mr. Hood?" Michael asked wanting to help his teacher.

Calum looked around the gym, seeing the overwhelming amount of balls and nodded. "That would be much appreciated." Michael left his small backpack on the bleachers and got up and started picking up balls and putting them back into the crates.

The pair finished just as students started coming into the gym. Michael sat back down with his stuff as Calum stood in front of the bleachers waiting to take roll.

Michael waited patiently his only friends to come. He only had two friends, really. Montgomery, who hates his name and prefers Monte, and Emme, who hates that her name isn't longer so she could have a nickname.

As if on cue, Michael felt himself being pulled into a hug by Emme. "Hello, my child."

"H-Hi Emmy!" Michael grinned, hugging her back.

She patted Michael on the head. "Good child."

Michael giggled at that. Then he felt someone's arms wrap around his shoulders. "Hey, Mikey." Then he looked at Emme. "Emme."

"Montgomery." She says tightly, irritating Monte. Emme was the only person who called Monte by his full name and it irritated him a lot and Emme loved it.

"Emmy~" Michael whined.

She mumbled under her breath. "..And I thought I was the mother in this group..."

"Yeah, Emmy." Monte snickered at her, making Emme glare at him.

She hit the black-haired boy on the head. "Shut up! I only let Mikey call me Emmy because it's cute when he does it!"

They both looked at the pink-haired boy and say in unison. "So Michael, wanna ha-"

Let's just say they had a hate/love sarcastic friendship with each other.

They got cut off by Mr. Hood telling the class to go get changed. Emme got separated from the and they got changed. When everyone was out of the locker rooms Calum started his lesson.

"Okay, listen up!" Calum spoke with a loud voice, silencing all of the students. "Today I'm giving you guys a free choice day. You can vote between soccer, dodgeball, or wall ball." The gym doors opened, revealing a service student who walks over to Calum, hands him a note, and leaves without a word. "Monte! Get your pass!"

Monte got up with a small cheer of being able to get out of P.E. As he left he ruffled Michael's pink hair softly, making the green-eyed boy giggle and pushed Emme's head down, making her smack his arm. Then he grabbed the note out of Mr. Hood's hand and ran out of the gym. The two didn't question Monte, knowing he would tell them later.

To Michael's unfortunate luck, the class chose dodgeball. Mr. Hood let them choose teams but Michael didn't want to play.

Calum saw this so he told Michael to sit on the sides and wait for him to talk to him. It was better this way anyway the teams were now equal.

After everything was situated, Calum went to talk to the boy on the bleachers.

Surprisingly, Michael spoke first. "Y-You wanted to s-speak t-to m-m-me?" The green-eyed boy was nervous, he didn't want to be in trouble. He didn't do anything, did he? Michael bit his lip, turning the soft pink color a bright bubblegum color.

"No, no, everything's fine," Calum spoke reassuring the boy. "I just thought you'd enjoy the sidelines better than getting hit in the face by a ball." He leaned in and whispered. "And I'd also like to preserve that pretty face of yours too."

-----

Michael was currently in a bathroom stall.

The second period just ended and P.E. was over. He always changed in the stalls. The pink haired boy took his time changing as he had lunch next. By the Michael was done changing everyone was out of the locker room.

The bell had ringed already. So the people who had Lunch 2 went to class and people like Michael, who had Lunch 2, went to lunch.

"Hello!?" A voice from the entrance of the locker room said loudly.

Michael called from behind the stall, putting his things away. "Y-Yes?"

"Are you almost done?" Footsteps stepped closer toward the stall Michael was in. "I need to lock the locker rooms before I get to lunch."

That was a lie. Calum didn't have to lock the room, he was waiting for Michael outside the locker room and when people stopped coming out of the locker room, he knew that Michael was the only one left in the locker room.

"O-Oh. sorry." Michael mumbled while rushing out of the stall, immediately crashing into Calum. "Sorry!" He squeaked again.

"It's alright Michael." The brown-eyed teacher shrugged. "You heading to lunch now?"

This time the pink-haired boy shrugged. "D-Don't know where M-Monte is..a-and Emmy has L-Lunch 2."

"Wanna go eat somewhere with me?" Calum asked the boy with hopeful eyes.

Michael bit his lip nervously. "Sure.."

The Maori's eyes gleamed and exclaimed. "Great!" He took a hold of the boy's soft, pale hand and tugged it toward his car, Michael laughing and giggling after him.

But what Michael didn't realize was the route Calum chose was right past the Arts area, where it held the art classrooms, dance studio, and music rooms. Right outside of Ashton's classroom, where a class was going on. The Maori said to Michael. "Let's race!"

Michael giggled and nodded, running past Calum. The brown-eyed teacher saw Ashton burning glares at him, as he walked after the pink-haired boy and waved teasingly at him, mouthing 'mine'.
