Rebecca's POV

Putting my stuff in my locker while thinking about the fact that this is the first day of my junior year my best friend came up to me, ranting about the same thing. Me singing up for choir. I dealt with this since the sixth grade, but this time, I bursted. "No! I'm not signing up for some stupid choir Giovanna! I don't care if you think I have a good voice!"

"First calm down. Second, why?"

"Because I don't -" The bell rang as I shut my locker to face her. "- care. I don't care. See ya at lunch." Giovanna headed one direction and I went in the other. Looking up and down at my schedule I finally reached my homeroom and first period class. Room 98. I slowly walked in and saw the teacher writing his name on the board. I stood in front of the class and noticed I was the only one missing. The only seat left was in the front row under the air vent.

"Okay class! So my name is Mr. Harp. I will be your homeroom and science teacher." Everything stood silent. "Don't worry you guys. It'll be a fun year." I slightly rolled my eyes and thought, Every single teacher says that and every year turns out to be just as boring as the last.

"There all the same. I mean when are we ever going to know this stuff!"

"Giovanna! Are you going to make everything a rant? For once I would like to eat my lunch in peace." She took of sip of her water and I continued, "Anyway. Why are we eating lunch with the senior's?"

"Oh. It's this new thing that they made. Freshman eat lunch with the sophomore's and junior's eat lunch with senior's."

I lifted my head to look around at everyone. "Well that sounds super - "

"Rebecca! Super what? Stupid! I know." Was all I could hear her say. Besides that everything got blocked out. Blocked out with only a super cute senior in my view. I watched as he greeted his friends with one of those 'bro hugs'. His brown eyes gleaming perfectly as he began to sit down. All of a sudden my view was blocked by a hand. Giovanna's hand. "Becky! What are you staring at!?"

I closed my eyes, shook my head, and paid my attention to her. "Oh. Um. It's nothing."

"No. It's something."

I rolled my eyes and pointed to the table knowing that she will get the truth out of me, one way or another. "Look at the guy with the leather jacket. He's so -"

She pointed and whisper screamed, "Forget him! Look at his friend!" I looked a seat over and saw a greened eyed, blonde haired, jean jacket wearing senior. I noticed a girl walking over and quickly placed my hand so it can hover over Giovanna's eyes, but, it was to late. "His friend, that just, kissed, a girl." Call me crazy but I swear I heard her heart break into two. She payed her attention back to her food. Lunch. A very, silent, lunch.

***The Week Past***

"Class. I know you all will hate for doing this but, you all will have to sign up for a club, group - " Mr. Harp pulled out a piece of paper and set it on his desk. "- and whatever else is on that list." Everyone popped out of their seats and raced to his desk. Once I got there, there was nothing left but - What the hell is Choir Helper? Guess I'll find out soon. Very, very, soon.
