Rebecca's POV

The next week came and I made sure that I was on time to the choir helper thingy. But first: Lets get through the day. After getting ready for school I ran down stairs and as soon as my foot touched the floor I saw Sarah and Giovanna waiting for me. Strange. "What are you guys doing here?"

Sarah's face stood expressionless. She shrugged and said, "She dragged me over here. Ask her."

"Giovanna?"

I slowly walked over to here and waited for an answer. "First, I didn't drag her over here she wanted to come."

"It's true! I lied! Ha!" I rolled my eyes and payed my attention back to Giovanna.

"Second, I told her everything because it was killing me and I have news!"

"Told her everything about what?"

"You know what I'm talking about."

I stood there without a clue until they both let out a breath and yelled, "Zach!"

My eyes widen and I put my hands over both of their mouths. "Shut up. My bother is here and he's still asleep. If he wakes up to the sound of girls screaming a boys name he's going to freak. Considering that he is my brother. My much older protective brother." I took my hands off of them and the three of us stood there without saying a word.

Sarah put her hand on the door knob and said, "Sorry. Now lets go before we blow up again." She opened the door and we all followed her out. "Now Giovanna tell her the news."

I hopped into the car and waited for an answer as I put the key into the ignition from the passenger seat. "Um. So. So Corbyn and I'v been talking - "

"Wait! Is this just another Corbyn story?"

"No. Now let me finish! Corbyn says that Zach has been about you a lot."

I looked over at her in disbelief. "Really?"

"Yes! And nothing bad either." I rolled my eyes and as Giovanna drove me to school the ride was silent.

When I got to school Sarah went to the other side of the building for her homeroom. "I still don't believe you."

"Fine. But when you find out that it's true you can't say I didn't tell you."

***After School***

Instead of waiting as if I was a lost puppy like last week I walked into the class when choir was just beginning. I helped out, like I'm supposed to do. I handed out papers. Set up some instruments. Blah, blah, blah. After wards when the class was over of course I was the last one to leave. No one wants to stay after school more than they already have to. That's why no one every picks this as their 'job' in school. But I got kind of stuck with it.

Both me and the teacher stayed behind to put away the instruments and stuff. Right when I got to the guitars she said, "That's okay dear. I've got those. You can head on out." I did as she said hoping that...well...you know what I'm hoping for.

I walked the empty halls heading out. I give up! I took my phone out and called my brother for a ride home before I swung the door open. I gave up to early. I sat down on the steps in front of me. "Hey Zach!"

"Hey. By time you came out."

"Wait. You waited for me?"

"Well the guys brought to my attention that I introduced you to them and stuff without really knowing you so... I just thought..."

"Oh. Okay. I mean. It's fine. I don't really know you either so it's okay. What do you wanna know?"

"I don't know. What do you wanna know about me?"

I let out a breath thinking about what to ask. So I just caved in and just said, "Anything?" Okay. More like I asked.

He let out a small chuckle with a smile after. "Okay. Lets see. I have a younger brother and sister. I play sports for fun. Like I said last week, I speak Spanish but I'm not fluent in it. Besides that my life isn't that exciting."

"Really. Your life is properly more exciting than mine. If it's not now, it will be later. But anyway. I have two older brothers, I play sports for fun like you... mostly basketball though, and I speak Spanish. Fluent Spanish."

"So you speak fluent - " A car horn cut his sentence and once I looked up my ride was here.

"Yo sis'! You comin'!?"Both Zach and I stood up and before I could say bye my brother began to yell again. "Who's that!?"

I rolled my eyes knowing what he was thinking. "He's just a friend!"

"Are you sure about that!?"

"Yes! Okay! He's just a friend! Now chill!" I turned to Zach and waved bye with a sheepish smile as I began to walk to the car.

Brothers.

Am I right.
