Rebecca's POV
The next day came in a blink of an eye... But instead of waking up to the sound of my alarm I woke up to my brother screaming in my ear. "Wake up little sis'!"
I yanked the sheet off of me and popped up glaring at him. "What do you want!?"
"Well since your car is still getting it's grills fixed I need to bring you to school and pick you up. So hurry up." He threw my pillow at me before leaving the room.
Now you may be wondering what happened to my grills that it's taking this long for them to be fixed. To be honest I don't know. All I know is that I parked my car, went to bed, and the next day they were all dirty and broken. It might have been someone that was trying to still my car, not in a very good way though. But, yeah. That happened. Now back to today.
I did what I do every morning. Blah, blah, blah. Boring stuff. Okay. Once I finish putting on my wedges I took a look at myself in the full length mirror. Something's missing. I looked around my room looking for what could bring the outfit together. Oh my God. How could I forget to put this on. I put on my sliver fish necklace that has a pink gem in the center. All of my friends have it, you know, except the boys. Giovanna has a blue gem. Sarah has a yellow gem. Ava has a purple gem. Etc... Once I went to the kitchen I saw something I've never saw before. My brother is making breakfast. I slowly walked up to him saying, "Why are you making breakfast?"
"Can't a big brother make his little sister breakfast when their parents are off working?" He placed the scrambled eggs on the plate next to some bacon and toast.
I grabbed the plate and took a seat at the table. "Yeah, but, you're not that kind of brother."
Pouring some orange juice into two glasses he raised his head and commented, "I feel hurt."
"Don't be." He took a seat across from me and began digging in... Just like all the Torres kids. "But for real: why did you this?"
"Because today's my last day of my visit."
"Wait! So... You're leaving today!? But! We didn't do anything together all throughout your visit."
"But I have to go back to work. You know I have a life... Right?"
"Yeah but I wish I could turn back time. To when you, me, and Jairo (my second older brother) spent everyday together without a worry about school or work."
"Yeah. How about I call him to see if he's working today so the three of us could spend time together after you're done school."
A smile slowly began to from at the corner of my mouth. "Okay! How about we play some basketball."
"Alright. But be prepared to lose."
"No. I think it's going to be the other way around." We both laughed and finished eating. After that, he dropped me off at school.

Zach's POV
During free period everyone was on their phones. It's the usual. But... Jonah broke the ice. "Hey guys." Everyone paid their attention to him. "It just hit me that we haven't really spent time together as a group."
Daniel turned off his phone and asked, "What do you wanna do?"
"I don't know."
Jack looked around at each and every one of us. "How bout we go ballin' after school?"
Corbyn and I shrugged our shoulders and said, "I'm down." The bell rang and it was back to pretending to pay attention.
***After School***
As soon as school was over I switched into some comfortable clothes and zoomed off to an inside court not to far away from us. Why inside? I don't know. Ask Jonah. Anyway. Once we got there Corbyn ran off into another room while I was just waiting on a lonely bench next to an empty court.
Daniel's POV
"...Okay. Thank you." We all walked in and went to the only empty court there was left. We were stretching when Corbyn ran off into another room. Jack, Jonah, and I ran off after him. We all quietly turned a slow left and found him play tennis with himself. "Um. What are you doing?"
"Isn't it obvious! I'm playing tennis!"
"With a wall?"
Corbyn turned his head letting the ball fly right passed him. "No. At least not anymore."
Jack went up to him and and put his hand on Corbyn's shoulder. "So you were playing tennis with a wall... And the wall won? Explain to me that logic."
Corbyn went up to the wall and placed his hand on it. "You see... Scientificly, walls have... I don't know. Let's just go back to basketball. The only thing I am good at beside singing."
Jack and I looked at each other with a smile. We both screamed, "You wish!" with Jonah laughing after.
Not to far from the court Jack put his hand in front of me, making us stop. "Isn't that the girl that Zach like? Um. What's her name?"
Corbyn stood in front of us two and said, "Rebecca. Her name is Rebecca. How could you forget? He talks about her literally twenty-four seven." We all looked over to Zach to see if he'd noticed. Nope. He's glued onto his phone.
I looked back at Corbyn and smiled. "Yeah. Just like you talk about Giovanna twenty-four seven." His face flushed as we continued to walk to the court. "Yo Zach. Guess who's here?"
He slowly turned off his phone and looked up. "Who?" I pointed to Rebecca. Once he looked we all watched as he mumbled, "She wasn't kidding when she said she plays basketball more than anything else. Look at her. She's playing with her two brothers and still doing better than I'd ever would."
A/N
Hey guy! Sorry for not posting in a while. I've been busy but I hope you liked this "chapter". For those that don't like basketball or sports in general sorry for putting this in the story but I felt like I had to. It's sort of a character development thingy.
