Allura and Coran put in the coordinates that the howl told me. "are you sure that's what it said?" Allura asks. I nod. "Is there another part of Voltron that we don't know about?" Shiro asks. "No, but i did hear of an old legend" Allura says. "really? What is it?" I ask. "Well you said that you heard howling and not growling, right?" Allura checks to make sure that is what i said. I nod as a response. "Well I once heard about another beast. My father would tell me stories of a Silver wolf" Allura says. My eyes widen with excitement. I've always been fascinated by the earth animal. "We're here" Coran says. We all look at the planet. I wasn't expecting this, the planet was partly destroyed (pic above). It looked like nothing could live there. I look at the coordinates that Coran put in. They were the correct ones. "Are you sure these are the coordinates it said?" Keith asks. "Yeah" I say. "Lets go down and see if there's anyone there" Lance says. "who will i go with?" I ask. "You can come with me!" Lance jumps up. I start to walk over. I get stopped by Keith. "I wouldn't if i were you, he's the worse pilot ever" He says. "I Am Not!" Lance yells. "You went right through a mountain the first time flying in your lion!" Keith says starting to pull me to his lion. (Well the long path towards his lion) . "Sorry Lance" I say with an apologetic smile. He pouts but heads for his lion anyways.
We fly down. It was just Lance's lion and Keith's lion that we brought. We were half way down when something attacked Lances lion. "Lance! are you ok?" I ask. "I'm fine, but what was that?" He asks. "I dont know." Keith says. I hear the howl again. "Wait guys. Its talking to me again" I say. Both lions stop. "What is it saying?" Keith asks. "It says only the lion that carries me can come down" I tell them. "What?! that's no fair" Lance pouts. "Lance come back to the castle, Keith and Y/N, be careful" Shiro says. "Ok" Keith says advancing forward. I could hear Lance mumbling over the intercom "I was supposed to take Y/N" He says. Keith lands his lion. He stands up and we leave the loin. I don't see anything. "where did it go?" Keith asks looking around.
My feet start moving, as if knowing where to go. I wasn't really paying any attention. "Y/N where are you going?" Keith calls out. I ignore him like i would forget where i was going if i said something. I start to run. "Y/N!" Keith calls out running after me.
I turn into a cave. I slow to a walk. Looking around I find a carving of a wolf. I brush my hand across it. "Y/N" Keith calls out finally catching up to me. "Why'd you run off" He says before noticing the carving. It lights up.
I see a glimpse of what looked like the wolfs memories. It fought against the galra. I see different fights but one stands out. It had fought alongside Voltron at one point, and could turn into its own robot. The last thing I saw was a silhouette of its paladin. The figure looked familiar but i couldn't figure out who it was. With that the vision went away.
"D-did you see that?" I ask. Keith nods. "Yeah, it was like when we found the blue lion. We all saw something similar" He explains. Something moves further in the cave. Both Keith and i turn towards the sound of the movement. I immediately walk forward. A giant robotic wolf slowly walks out of the shadows. I stop just in front of it. It lowers its head. I hold my hand out and it places the tip of its nose on my hand.

The wolf soon goes back into the darkness. Keith walks up beside me. Soon a smaller figure walked out. It looked like a real wolf. At least from what I've read they looked like.

It was beautiful. It had a necklace around its neck with some sort of crystals on it. It sits in front of me. The robotic wolf comes back, I hear the howl again. It tells me about the white wolf in front of me. It tells me that this wolf was the last paladins partner before his death. The wolf was Altean and the last of its kind. The crystals around its collar, as I learned its called, are magical with untold secrets. I am told that she will help me, and that her name is Alpine.
I tell Keith what the Wolf said. I go down on one knee and hold my hand out "Nice to meet you Alpine" I say with a smile. She quickly smells my hand and jumps on me, barking with happiness. Keith laughs a bit. "Looks like she likes you" He says. I laugh and stand up. "Ok time to go" I say. The wolf lowers its head and lets us climb in with Alpine. I fly us back to Keith's lion and we fly back.
We get on the castle and I exit my wolf with Alpine. We all meet up at the control center. "I didn't know Altean's had wolves" Pidge says. "Well yes, we did." Allura says. I introduce Alpine to everyone, and explained everything that happened.
A few days has past and Alpine, along with myself, have gotten sort of attached to Keith. I don't know what this feeling is. I've never really felt it before, its weird. Every now and then we will sleep in each others rooms. Those are the nights where i sleep best. I couldn't explain why.
I found out we have a garden area on the ship. It's huge and has nice views. I've heard Lance compare it to Earth. I like it. I take Alpine there to play. Keith usually comes to. Its really fun. It's been peaceful since i came on the Castle of Lions, but I knew the peace had to end sooner or later.
Alarms went off and i heard Allura's voice over the intercom "Paladin's! Hurry Zarkons attacking!" She calls out. "Quiznack" I say running out of the garden with Alpine and Keith.
