Quiznak (Keith x halfGulra! Reader)

The Red Paladin is kind of an Asshole

"Oh your awake" Champion says. "yeah" I say still a little wobbly. "Are you sure you don't want to go into the pod for a few more ticks?" The princess girl asks. "NO... no pod. I'm fine" I say not wanting back in that confined space. I'm not really claustrophobic, its just I feel like im being restricted. I hate that feeling. I've felt it enough on Zarkons ship. 

Every one stares at me a bit before speaking. The tall guy to the left of Champion walks up to me and circles me. "you know, your a lot cuter than I thought" He says, he stops in front of me before speaking again. "The names Lance" He bows grabbing my hand with a small blush. He brings my hand up about to kiss it but my instincts kick in and I spin  him around and pin him to the ground. I hear the red guy behind me laugh. "Nice going Lance, you ended up getting beat by a girl AGAIN" He says laughing harder. "Shut it Keith!" The guy i now know as Lance says. "Guys enough" Champion says walking forward a bit. I release Lance and stand to look at him. "Lance, kind of had the right idea. We should introduce ourselves" He says. I look at him then at his robotic arm.  I'm sure its gulra tech, and that he's Champion but, I have to be sure. 

" Would I be able to ask a question first?" I ask, "well i have multiple questions but those can wait" I say. "Go ahead" Champion says. "Are you the one they call Champion?" I ask. He looks at me. "yes I am" He answers calmly "but you can just call me Shiro" He smiles. The smaller girl walks over. "I'm Pidge" She says. The chubbier guy walks over "My names Hunk" He says. "Keith" says a voice behind me. I turn to see the red guy i punched earlier. " I am Princess Allura of Altea" Says the taller girl. I knew she was a princess. 

They all wait for me to say my name. "I'm Y/n" I say. "Nice to meet you Y/N" Shiro says holding out his hand to shake. I take it. I had forgot that I had a long sleeved shirt on so no one noticed my prosthetic until now when my shirt, which was a little too small now, rid up my arm showing more than my glove covered hand. I could hear a gasp from some of the others. "They took your arm" Shiro says, I could hear pain in his voice. Keith now in front of me and a little worried. "Yeah" I say nonchalantly. I look down a bit. "That's not all" I say, feeling I can trust the people who had saved me. Everyone looked at me confused and worried. I showed them my right leg. "They also took my leg" Another round of gasps in heard. Shiro now looking angry. "Its really not that big of a deal" I say. "I'm used to it now" Now it was Keith's turn to look angry, but he actually says something. "NO one should be used to that!" He freaks a bit. The others look a bit surprised. He looks around confused. "what?" He says with more of a calmer tone. "did Keith just yell at someone other than me?" Lance says surprised. 

"I should get going" I say. "where will you go?" Pidge asks. "I dont know" I admit "We can take you back to Earth" Lance says. I freeze for a second. I can't let them know what I am. "I'm sure your family misses you" Allura says. "I don't have a home or a family. All i have are people who look after me like its their job. They don't really care" I say. The only person who really paid attention and gave me affection was a close friend of my father. Orokk was his name. He was the father-figure in my life. He probably freaked when i didn't come back from my mission. 

"I'm sorry" Allura says. "It's fine" I say. Shiro and Keith put their hands on my shoulders. "How about you stay with us? Hunk suggests. "Its ok, you dont have to do that" I say. "No i think Hunk is right. Everyone needs a place to stay" Allura says. "It wouldnt be a problem" She says. "Are you sure?" I ask. Everyone gives a slight nod. "OK I guess I'll stay" I say, 'Its better than going back to the base' I think to myself. "I'll show you to your room" Allura says. 

Allura takes me down many halls and stops at one. "Here we are" She says as the door slides open. I take a step in and look around. "I'll go get you a change of clothes" Allura says. I give her a nod and she leaves. I sit down on my bed and think about what I'm going to do about my Galra eye. I have no contacts and I know that there will be times my hair will move from my face. 

I come up with the idea to use an eye patch. I go through a closet thats beside my bed, it has many different fabrics in it. I find a rough but soft fabric that would be perfect. With that I make an eye patch and put it on. I freshen up and take a shower. I walk out with the towel around me. Allura finally comes back in with piles of clothes. "I dont think i need that much" I say. She laughs a bit but soon realizes the eye patch. "Oh is you eye ok? is it hurt?" She asks worried. "no no no, its fine, I..... I'm actually half blind in this eye" I lie "its too much of a hassle to try and see with it so I made this with some fabric in the closet, I hope thats ok" I say. "Oh I forgot about the fabric in here. Of course its ok. you can use any fabric in there" She says looking less worried "just as long as your ok" She smiles. 

She brings in all the clothes. Most of which were dresses. "thank you Allura" I smile. "Any time" She replies "Now I will leave you to change, if you need anything Keith's room is the closest, and is just down the hall, if you follow the hall past his room the others rooms are there. "Thanks" I say. She smiles and leaves. 

I go through the piles of clothes and come across an outfit that I deem worthy of being seen on me in front of people (the pic @ the top). I was surprised she would have something like this, she seems to be more of a girly type person. I quickly put it on and walk out of my room. I take a look around the castle. I still have a lot of questions. I turn the corner and bump into someone and fall on the ground. "Oh sorry" a male voice says. I look up to find Keith holding a hand out to me. "nah, Its fine" I say taking his hand as he helps me up. 

"thanks" I say. "no problem" He  says. He thinks for a second. "Hey if you want i can show you around" He suggests. "That would be awesome" I take his offer. He takes me all over the castle. He answers some of my questions like 'Where are we", "What they were doing in space", and "How long i was in the pod". 

"2 days" he answers my last question. "I was out for 2 hole days?" I ask. "more or less, yeah. Telling time in space is hard" He admits. "yeah" I agree. "Now its my turn to ask questions" He says. "fine" I say. "Ok, first of all, Why are you wearing an eye patch?" He asks. I say the same thing I said to Allura. "Oh. How did you get on Zarkon's ship?" He asks again. I cant tell him the real reason because of the secrecy of the Blade of Marmora, so I lie again. "Well I don't really know." I lie. "what do you mean?" He asks. "I cant remember. I remember where I'm from, what my life was like, but i cant remember how I got there" I lie. Its not like I wanted to lie, I had to. "Sorry" He says. "Its not your fault" I say. 

We turn into the kitchen. Here we found Hunk and Lance. Lance looks over to us. "Getting chummy with the new girl are you?" He says suspiciously. "I was just showing her around idiot" Keith replies. "Your the idiot!" Lance yells back. "Oh yeah?" "Yeah!" "OK guys enough fighting, your both idiots" I say jokingly. "We are not!" They yell in unison. 

I can already tell that I'll like it here. I just need to keep whats in my blood a secret.
