Aga, clad in his gray sweatshirt and sweatpants, rushed downstairs. After not having any workout for a week, he opted to do his morning jog. As soon as he reached the last step of the stairs, he saw Lea lacing up her rubber shoes while talking to someone over the phone. She was wearing a blue sweatshirt and a black running shorts.

"Oo gani. Diin si Mommy haw? Ti man gali. Just don't bug me this early! Olivia! Ewan ko sayo! Oh? Wala ka ubrahon ako sabadon mo ya?! Bahala ka da." (Oo nga! Saan ba si Mommy? Ayun naman pala. Just don't bug me this early! Olivia! Ewan ko sayo! Oh? Wala kang magawa kaya ako kinukulit mo?! Bahala ka dyan!) She rolled her eyes.

He chuckled softly upon seeing her annoyed face. It was really too cute for him to handle. He may not understand what she was saying but he was sure that whoever was calling her, really got into her nerves.

"Fine! Lantawon ko lang kung may vacant sa sched ko! Oo na! Try ko magpuli next month! Duh. I have work here. Why don't you come here instead? Wala ka man may gina-ubra da. Sus! Bagit! Kadamo ka kwarta mo. Timprano ka pa nagsinabad. Bye na! Love you too!" (Fine! Tingnan ko lang kung may vacant sa sched ko! Try kong umuwi next month. Duh. I have work here. Why don't you come here instead? Wala ka namang ginagawa dyan. Sus! Kuripot! Ang dami mo kayang pera. Ang aga mong nangulit. Bye na! Love you too!) She shook her head and ended the call. She turned around to pick her earphones up. She looked up and saw Aga. "Hey! Uhm..."

"Good Morning, Lei." He greeted her and offered a small smile.

She beamed. "Good Morning!" She said in her cheerful tone.

"I bet you're going to have your morning jog."

She nodded. "Yeah. Ikaw din?"

"Yep. Sabay na kaya tayo. I wouldn't let you go out alone wearing that short shorts." He uttered and looked at her.

She blushed and pulled the hemline of her shorts down. "Hindi naman siya sobrang ikli."

He sighed. "Oo nga...di siya sobrang ikli pero shorts pa rin yan. Wala ka bang sweatpants dun or leggings?"

She chuckled. "Meron." She bit her lip. "But mas comfortable ako pag nakaganito."

"Okay. Okay, Ms. Salonga." He held her hand and pulled her.

She was caught off guard by his gesture but she chose not to mind it. Let it be, Lea. Walang meaning yan. Wag kang assuming. She thought.

They reached the Village's playground. Aga suggested that the playground should be their starting line.

"Are you doing this every morning?" She asked as they are both warming up.

He nodded. "Yeah. Pero this week...hindi ko na nagagawa. A lot of field inspections has to be conducted. Ikaw?"

She shook her head. "Nope. Usually kasi late na ako nagigising. I'm not a morning person and I don't know why I woke up early today. I haven't slept last night." She pouted.

"Namamahay ka siguro. You know pag first time mong matulog sa isang place...you're not at ease. Diba? Di ka dinadalaw ng antok." He said and smiled. "Don't worry masasanay ka rin."

"Right." She agreed and stretched her arms up.

"Sino pala yung tumawag kanina? Inis na inis ka ah." He chuckled and looked at her.
