My feet are fixed to the ground like someone hot glued them. I am transfixed, enable to move a single muscle in my body. Feeling shell shocked with fear; a heart wrenching fear. Paralyzed even though every fiber in my body is screaming alongside my brain to run, run for my life. But my heart has left my lungs to taken cover in my guts, leaving me standing like statue. In the situation of fight or flight it is just my luck for the freeze reflex to kick in.

I want to run away but I can't peel my eyes off, of the bodies that now stand 8 foot tall in front of us. Wearing black armor and carrying big swards in their hands there faces hidden behind dark shadow mask. Arakh pushes me further behind him until I am completely obscured from their view.

"Are we gonna die?" I squeak out, my throat feeling raw.

"You maybe, I am too hot to die" Leo jokes and sends me a wink. His joke only sets me more on edge, he is right after all, he is an angel and I am human so of course I will be the one that dies if it come to that. I shake my head and tuck myself further behind Arakh, but I also stand on my toes and try to peek from behind his broad shoulder, my curiosity like always winning over.

The guy wearing a hoodie takes a step forward. He is neither tall or broad but looks like any other guy from my school. He lifts one hand throwing back his hoodie and revealing himself to us.

I shift a little on my feet to get a better view of him. He looks young, my age and is just as breathtaking as the two guys standing near me. However, there is a certain innocence in his features.

"Rezekiel there is no need for this. I will return once I have finished my propose" Arakh speaks with clarity and determination but I can feel the way his muscles tense letting me know that there is a hint of uncertainty in his words. I can also see the seed of doubt in Rezekiel's eyes. He doesn't believe Arakh's word.

"I don't think he is ready to listen to you...at least not for another few centuries" Leo takes out a dagger from under his jacket and starts cutting his wrist.

"What the fuck are you doing?" I scream at him drawing the attention of Rezekiel and uli-something.

"Calm the fuck down!" Leo yells back as the giant things in armor slowly start making their way towards us. I feel Arakh's hands pulling me towards him. He holds me in his arms, his wings out on display and circling me with protection.

I see Rezekiel make his way towards us too but Leo takes a step forward with his wrist bleeding and starts forming a circle around me and Arakh with his blood.

The minute the circle is complete it starts glowing blinding white forcing me to close my eyes. "Stay in the circle" Arakh whispers in my ears and I soon find him leaving me and feeling like I am falling down a black hole. I open my eyes and panic seeps in my skin making my heart throb to the point that it hurts.

I am in an unknown place, no longer covered by the dull and scraped concrete walls of the wearhouse. Its dark and my eyes can't seem to be able to adjust to it. Like a blind person I stick both my hands out and try to feel for a wall or something to support me as I take small hesitant steps forward.
After what feels like an hour I finally find my eyes adjusting to the darkness granting my vision back.

I am standing in a long narrow path covered by thick dark wall on either side. I look up and see the walls stretched up high enough that it almost reaches all the way towards the sky above which is only a few shades lighter than the walls.
I turn in circles as my breath gets stuck in my throat. I am standing in a maze or a never ending road. The walls on both the side seem to go on forever. Leaving no hint of a way out. I feel my eyes getting damp. My head exploding with questions, where am I? How did I get here? How do I get out?
