"Who do you want?" I hear Sara call out in the foyer probably greeting in her way, whoever that is at the door.

I pour some chocolate chips in my cupcake batter and start preparing the mint icing. My brother runs down stairs like his pants are on fire while running his hands in his hair, trying to tame them for some reason.

A second later a scowling Sara steps in the kitchen, picks up a spoon and takes a scoop full of raw batter and stuff it in her face, ignoring my glair.

"Are you kidding me?" I badgered taking the bowl containing batter away from her hands and start pouring it in the cupcake mould.

"Why didn't you tell me Mick has a girlfriend" she hisses at me.

I set the temperature and time of the oven and turn back to face her, "What are you talking about?" I scoff and turn back my attention to the icing.

"Your brother has a Girlfriend!" she huffed, taking the now empty bowl of batter and licking of all that is left in it.

I shake my head wanting to laugh. Mick having a girlfriend is like kardashian's having small junk.

Yeah never gonna happen.

I give her a don't be ridiculous look as her greedy hands now reach for the icing.

"Well why else would he kiss a girl and say I can't wait for you to meet them" she tries imitating my brothers voice but fails miserably, sounding like she has a raccoon stuck in her throat instead.

I frown at her words and go near the kitchen window to spy on him. I don't see either of them at first but then when I move a little to left I can see my brother kissing and holding a girl in his arms and smiling down at her. Seeing the girl's short hair I pull back with a smile.

The day is finally here. My brother ever since he was 14 has been playing the game of random flings. The girls were always the same Pretty, curvy, wavy long hairs, preferably blond; in outfits 10 sizes to small along with a pea size brain to complete the look.

From what I just saw outside, the girl didn't fit any of those categories, except being pretty. That isn't all though, he never brings any girl home and if he has it must be serious. I give a full on teeth showing smile to Sara and she just scowls more.

"What about me? You are my best friend Rose! It was your responsibility to hook us up!" she grumbles at me and throws a spoon at me, hitting me right in the forehead.

"Ow! This is why" I give her a harsh look and continue; "Oh come on Sara it was never gonna happen anyway and you know it" I throw the spoon back but she catches it and not so maturely sticks her tongue out.

"Rose I want you to meet someone" Mick casually walks up into the kitchen holding hands of a really pretty and incredibly nervous girl. Although with his tense shoulder and a slight bounce in his feet I could tell he was equally as nervous as the girl he was holding hands of; if not more.

"This is Irisha, my..girlfriend" he nervously rubs his hands behind his neck and the girl gives an awkward wave before dropping her hands and looking at her feet with a slightly blush clearly visible on her face.

The little moment of Micky pulling her closer to him and taking a protective stance doesn't go unnoticed from me either. I give him a huge smile and extend a hand towards her, while giving my brother a teasing look over her shoulder. Knowing full well that I will like her.

For the next few hours till dinner it was obvious how head over heels my brother was over her and for good reasons. She was not only smart and had great taste in music but was also really polite and funny. Mom & I were quite happy to see Micky with a girl like her. They looked so happy together.
