In truth, she's better

The pain she gets
She doesn't deserve it
She's sometimes happy
She's somtimes sad
Sometimes, she does things that make her feel bad
It's not her fault that
She's like that
But she thinks it is
And there's nothing I can do 'bout that
But you know what else?
When she smiles
I smile
When she's hurt
I cry inside
When she's happy
I'm happy
I have no idea why,
You see....
She sometimes needs to know
She needs to be reminded
That she is loved
And shouldn't regret it
This may not be able to cheer her up
But I want her to know
