"Oi dumbass"
That's Jet Waters, River's closest friend since 4. Jet is quite the contrast to River. He has Jet black (surprise!!!) floppy hair, thus the name Jet if you haven't already guessed. He was born with thick black hair which was quite the surprise to his very blonde, very Australian parents. Mutant? Miracle? Though he did get passed down his mum's piercing blue eyes, and his dad's height. He's 6ft 3, which is where the contrast becomes quite strong. River is 5'2 and very skinny, whereas Jet is very tall and muscular. Since they both moved out of their patents home a year ago when they were 18, they've practically seen each other everyday since and both have keys to the others house. Which is how Jet ended up sitting on River's white kitchen counter calling her a dumbass, just to clear that up. Jet is also on the honour roll in the fine arts major, though he has to try considerably harder than River. He isn't as naturally gifted and he's also a perfectionist so it takes him longer to be happy with a project.
"Ah, there he is,my professional stalker" said River, grabbing two confetti cupcake pop tarts and putting them in the toaster. One for River. One for Jet. Jet sniggered at the remark.
