ETERNITY

We are all alone in this black night

but the slight sheen of moon focused on the two of us,

you and I in an almost suggestively sexual pose,

your head perching on me, as if you wanted to doze.

My heart was beating fast, I felt so cold

Nervous, I didn't want to lose your hold.

Then I tapped you slightly to take a glance of me,

and of the reality I would want you to see.

And when my teeth were honed like a pencil,

and the moonlight made my face appear paler,

you gave me an incredulous facial look

then an expression of amazement, but not anger.

Then my pristine fangs aimed at your cervix,

Two holes were born on the left side of your neck.

But you willingly gave in and your gore I reluctantly drank

I was actually glad, because you never shrank.

Blood rampageously dripping from my maw,

after I sucked it all from your long graceful neck,

I checked your status and looked if you're still alive

I was just so happy, you had already died.

Moments passed and you had risen from the dead,

Stronger, colder, paler and fairer like me.

Now you and I were just one kind.

No one could tell that our love was blind.

Please forgive me for what I've made you turn into.

It's just that I thoroughly love you.

And what could I really do,

when all I've ever wanted is eternity with you?
