"You sure you're comfortable staying here?" Tess asked for the twentieth time that morning, putting the Charger in park in front of Claire's house. "We could always go to Italy..."

"I will be fine. You gave me those silver knives, I've got holy water, those devil trap drawings, everything. I'm gonna be aces." Claire reassured with a smile.

Tess sighed, rubbing the back of her neck "I knew Italy was a long shot. Just-Just be careful. And call if anything doesn't seem right. Anything at all."

"Promise." Claire beamed, pulling her sister into a bone crushing hug. "Come visit soon, please. I love you. Thank you for saving me."

Tess kissed her sisters forehead, rubbing her back as she replied honestly "Keeping to safe is my job. And I will come see you as soon as I can. I promise. Call me anytime, day or night. I mean it, kid."

"Will do, Tessa." Claire pulled away and went to say goodbye to Sam, whom she had taken quite a liking to. Tess leaned against the Charger next to Dean, watching their younger siblings interact adorably.

"You sure you don't wanna stay?" Dean asked carefully, glancing down at the huntress to gauge her reaction on leaving.

Tess nodded, tucking her hair behind her ears as she replied "I'm sure. As much as I'd like to stay, I can't put her in danger. And I don't think I'd be good for her. Claire has her life and I have mine."

Dean could see the hurt in Tess's eyes as she waved to her sister one last time before loading into the Charger, turning her back on Klamath Falls, Oregon.

Back in Black blared throughout the interior of the newly refurbished Impala, Tess and Dean bobbing their heads to the beat of the song.

Tess ran her fingers along the smooth leather she had helped Dean replace just a week prior after their return from Oregon.

"Whoo!" Dean cheered as he floored it, breaking the speed limit buy a more than reasonable amount. "Listen to her purr! Have you ever heard anything so sweet?"

"Ya know," Sam smirked in a teasing tone "if you two wanna get a room, just let us know, Dean."

Tess laugh from the backseat as Dean began to talk to the car. "Aw. Don't listen to him, Baby. He doesn't understand us."

"So you're in a good mood..." Tess pointed out happily as she leaned up into the front seat.

"Why shouldn't I be?"
