"Ash!" Everybody shouted. Ash was on the ground wincing as the pain coursed through his midsection. To make things worse, he was he was loosing a lot of blood. Maria ran towards him with her eyes red.
"Ash why?" Maria spoke as her voice shook. "You didn't have to do that. Why?"
"Because," Ash started. "I love you."
Maria was so speechless and everybody would've had their jaws open if Ash wasn't mortally wounded. Then just before Ash gave his last breath Maria kissed him and a bright yellow light enveloped Ash, Iris, Maria and Molly since they were the closest to Ash. Then the Crip entered with a strong machine based on a Pokémon but was momentarily blinded by the light.
