Badass

Chapter 7

The pain in my chest felt like someone was stabbing me repeatedly, I fell to my knees clutching my chest gasping for air. Then it felt like my leg snapped in half and I screamed curling up in a ball, I looked at my leg and saw the bone sticking out of my skin. I felt my ribs crack and snap breaking in-paling me, I couldn't breathe but the pain wouldn't let me scream either. I felt my other leg snap along with my arm and I felt blood gurgling up into my lungs.

" Casey !!!!!" Kevin picked me up, blood trickled out from my lips I felt my thigh leg snap and my eyes rolled to the back of my head my body spasming.

" Just hold on Casey stay awake !!!" I coughed blood spurting from my mouth, then I felt like my pelvis was being crushed. I finally got my voice to scream out my pain my body convulsing harder.

" DAD !!!!!" the bones in my hands and feet broke, the muscles and tendons ripping and tearing apart separating from the bones, I was in so much pain I couldn't scream any more.

" Give to me Kevin and go get max and David, run !!!!" someone set me down on something soft, it did little because next it felt like my spine snapped in half and I was forced into a 90 degree angle, blood gurgling from my chest and slipped out from my lips.

" Shhhh, it's ok honey it's ok it's almost over, you'll be ok ," that sounded like Matt, and felt him stroking my hair.

" What's going on ?!?" that sounded like max, David was probably with him too.

" She's shifting guys I need you to hold her down because once she starts to fully change she's going to start thrashing.

I felt two sets of hands hold me down, and keeping me in place.

Then it felt like some one was crushing my skull from the inside out while my skin kept getting tighter and ripping and tearing off of my body. I started really screaming thrashing around convulsing blood running out of my nose and mouth.

" Daddy what's happening ?!?" My breast bone crushed itself.

" Go back with mommy baby go !!!" then my skin started to itch and burn I started to scratch and claw and my body kicking and thrashing and screaming bloody murder.

" Matt she's in too much pain she's half human if she reacts like this she won't make it !!!!" it felt like my body was being torn limb from limb and being reassembled into something else.

" NO !!! She will make it she's my daughter and I will not loose her !!!" My bones started to remold and reshape, but when I felt my neck snap I blacked out.

My eyes felt swollen and my whole body ached all the way to the bone, I shakily sat up and yawned. I looked around and found that I was in my room Matt must carried me here. I climbed off the bed to only to fall to the ground, my legs were numb and I could barely move and when I landed on my legs I cried out in pain but it came out as a high pitched shriek. I tried to stand, I looked down at me feet only to see that they weren't feet they were paws. I scrambled stumbling around and falling in front if my big mirror and what I saw made my heart stop. It was a wolf, the wolf staring back at me ... was me. I was covered head to toe in pure white fur, it was so white it seemed to glow, but my electric blue eyes looked like someone put a light behind them and they looked, inhuman. I whined and fell onto my belly, my legs jello I must be dreaming but the pain in my legs made me realize was real, but how was this possible ? Someone came in, it was Matt and his eyes widened at the sight of my fur and me on the floor.

" Casey !!!" he rushed over to me and helped me stand, my legs wobbled I had the balance of a new born deer.

" Come on sweetie you need to eat ," I leaned on him heavily and he helped me down all those stairs, I didn't know how he hadn't tipped over since my body came up to my shoulder and I was guessing guys would be bigger than me.

" Your ok ," my legs wobbled uselessly and I kept stumbling around it felt like my bones were made of jello.

" Don't worry honey you'll get strength in your legs soon ," he led me into the living room and led me to the couch and I basically fell over because my legs were being crap.

" I'm sorry sweetheart ... oh god ," I watched as Matt put his head in his hands his shoulders starting to shake and I saw tears leak through his fingers. I hated when people cried I just never liked seeing people so broken and hurt, I whined and crawled on my belly closer to him nosing him and opening his hands. His eyes were swelling and bloodshot tears ran freely down his cheeks, the bags under his eyes and the 5 o'clock shadow on his jaw suggested he hadn't slept in days. I whined softly and laid my head on his lap. He wrapped his arms around me and buried his face in my neck and full out sobbed.

" I'm so sorry Casey, I'm so so sorry, I thought I lost my little girl and it was all my fault I'm so so so sorry ," I whined and licked his rough cheeks gently trying to take away the tears.

" I'm sorry baby girl, I almost lost my baby and it's my fault oh god I'm so sorry Casey please forgive me ," I whined and continued to lick his cheeks.

If only I could tell him I wasn't mad, actually it was pretty cool I had always known I had been different ever since I was little but I just didn't know what. I nudged him whining licking his cheeks, he hugged me tightly by the neck and just stayed like that, it seemed like if he let go I'd disappear.

" I was so afraid of loosing you, you were in so much pain and there was so much blood ... I didn't think you'd make it, then you just collapsed and stopped shifting ... I was so scared that I lost my girl ," I whined and put my nose on his shoulder.

If only I could tell him that I wasn't mad at all.
