Chapter 8

Kinshiro looked over at Makoto. Makoto trying to fix his hair, who glared into the mirror. His hair didn't want to work with him today.

"Why today out of all days?" Makoto mumbled.

Kinshiro chuckled and walked over. He stood behind him and helped pull back his hair, but he kept his long bangs down. He leaned over and kissed his cheek.

"As beautiful as always," Kinshiro said as he lightly pat Makoto's stomach.

"Shut up," Makoto blushed a little as he looked at him.

Kinshiro smiled and pulled away from his lover. Today was the day. They, finally, were getting married. Makoto smiled at Kinshiro before they headed out. Kinshiro made sure that Makoto stayed close to him.

"I can't believe we're getting marred today," Kinshiro mumbled as he kept an arm around him.

Makoto smiled. "Yeah, I can't either," he agreed with him as he looked up at the older man.

After some time of walking, they got to a small shrine. Someone was waiting for them. They smiled as the person looked up at them.

About an hour later, Kinshiro and Makoto were officially married. They were heading back to the tea house through alleyways. Makoto was walking slightly behind Kinshiro. Slowly, he stopped walking.

"Kin..." Makoto said as he felt like someone was watching them. He looked around with a hand on his baby bump.

"Mak...oh god..." Kinshiro's eyes widened. He kept Makoto behind him as a blonde merchant came out of the shadows.

"Hello," Willem smiled at him. "I heard that you two are having a child. Oh," he looked at Makoto, "he has grown a lot."

"Leave him alone," Kinshiro said as he kept him behind him.

Willem smiled as he pulled something out of his pocket. He pointed at them. It was a gun. Kinshiro's eyes widened as he took a step back with Makoto.

"Sorry, I'm taking him," Willem said before shooting Kinshiro in both of his legs, making him fall down.

Willem moved fast. He was behind Makoto in a second. The last thing he heard was 'Makoto!' before the world went dark.

Soji heard Kinshiro's screaming and ran after him. He soon got to the alley way and saw Kinshiro bleeding from his legs. He ran over.

"Kin?!"

Kinshiro looked at him with wide eyes. "Makoto..." He mumbled. "He was taken by Willem... Willem took him..."
