Danny's sister joins the team

Danny's Pov

For the third time today my twin sister has called me to asked why I can't pick her up when her plane lands. Don't get me wrong I love my sister, but I have no idea how many times I've told her the reason why is because of the case we have going on. It got to the point of her compelling about not knowing where to go when she landed. Finally I told her that I would ask if one of my team members could go pick her up. After hearing that she hung up. She may be my sister but she is a real pain in my ass sometimes.

"What's up Danno?" Steve asked.

"It's my sister. She's flying in today and I can't pick her up. Can you go get her for me?" I pleaded.

He said that he would love to. I told him a little bit about her. She was a SEAL until a couple years ago. He made the comment about maybe knowing her. I laughed. Steve asked what her name was and I told him that it was Ellie Williams. After hearing her name he ran out of the building. 

Steve's Pov

Ellie is Danny's sister. Why didn't she ever tell me his name? I got to the airport just as Ellie's plane had landed. I saw her get her bags and she started to walk towards me. When she saw me she ran to me and hugged me. I was happy to see her but I was still annoyed.

"Stevie, when did you come back home?" She asked.

"Around the same time your BROTHER joined Five-0." I explained putting emphasis on the word brother.

She gave me a sheepish look. Before she could say anything I got a text from Danny telling me that they had gotten a suspect in custody. I told Ellie to get her stuff and put it in the car and then got in. We were going to have a discussion about this later.

Ellie's Pov

I fucked up. Steve is my best friend. We drove in silence until we got to HQ. Before we left the car Steve turned to look at me. He was still pissed.

"Stevie, listen before you go into SEAL mood I'm sorry. I didn't tell you about Danny because he wasn't a fan of me joining the SEALs in the first place. He knew that the reason that I did was because he was going to be a cop. I wanted to protect our country overseas and he wanted to protect it at home. He doesn't even know that we knew each other. I just wanted to keep my two lives separated from each other in case one of you guys was captured and they wanted information about me and my life either in the SEALs or in Jersey. But I guess none of that matters now since you guys are partners." I explained.

He knew that all I wanted was to protect my family. We got out of the car and walked into the office. Danny saw me and gave me a hug which I returned. I wasn't paying much attention to Danny because I was looking at Steve. He had his back towards us. After Danny let go I went into sister mood.

I was yelling at him for not picking me up. He started to apologize to me. Danny was the best brother I could ever ask for. We may fight a lot but we would risk our life for the other. Steve said that our little family reunion was over. Danny told me to go wait in his office. Before I could go someone yelled my name.

"Cath! What's going on? Is Sophia alright?" I worried.

"She's fine El. I heard that you were going to be in Hawaii and I thought that Sophia should see where her mom is going to be working." Catherine said.

Catherine Rollins, the girl who is dating the man I love and the father my my child. I know that it is weird that Steve is dating someone else when he has a daughter. Well he doesn't know about her. Hell Danny didn't even know. Soon there was a nine year old girl running into the office towards me. I was happy to see her. Before I left I asked Catherine to watch Sophia for a little bit. I lied to my brother about when I was coming in. I have been in Hawaii for 2 days. 

Sophia jumped into my arms and she hugged me. I smiled at my little trouble maker. She giggled at me. Danny was pissed. Steve was shocked. The other members of the team whose name's I learned later were Kono and Chin were surprised. I gave everyone a sheepish smile.

"Ellie who got you pregnant? I'll rip his throat out. How old is she?" Danny asked.

"Danny she is nine years old. I'm not telling you who it is because I want to protect him." I said.

Steve stepped in front of me and looked at me and Sophia. He asked me who the father was and I told him the same thing I had just told Danny. Her father would remain name less until the time was right. I told Danny I was going back to my place. I got more surprised looks. I said that I have been in Hawaii for two days and I found a nice place to live and I have a job. The governor had assigned me to work with Five-0 because of my relationship with Steve and Danny. 

I grabbed my stuff and Sophia and left. Cath gave me a ride. While we were on our way to my house she told me that she and Steve had broken up. I looked at her with shock. She said that she was being deployed for four years and that she didn't want to put Steve through that. I gave her a smile because that was only part of the reason she did that. Catherine was the only person who knew who the father of my daughter was. When we got to my house she helped me get my stuff all together and into the house. I looked at the time and put Sophia to bed and then talked to Catherine for a few hours before I was ready to go to sleep and hope to god that no one asks about Sophia's dad tomorrow. I was so close to telling Steve the truth right then and there but I caught myself. Tomorrow will be different I kept saying to myself as I feel asleep that night.
