It's ten minutes past twelve, and she still isn't here.

Busy streets are filling up with noisy cars, while everyone's enjoying themselves at Nishini park playing frisbee, walking their dogs and having lots of fun.

On the other hand, Takeshi and I are at the clock in the middle of the park, waiting for Watanabe.

When is she gonna get here? I question myself, didn't she say she lived close by?

Takeshi sighs, "Damn, when is she gonna get here? You know, if I knew she was gonna hold us up this lo-"

"Sorry, I'm late."

We both turns around to look where the voice came from, and sure enough, it's Watanabe.

She's wearing a simple denim dress with a white long sleeves, along with her regular hair style, a braid on the side with a little pink bow on the back of her head this time. With her, is a small red bag with a few keychains on it, which looks like they were from a few animes.

"My alarm clock on my phone was never turned on, so I quickly got ready." She huffs.

She looks tired...

"Did you run all the way here?" I question.

"Um...yeah." She replies. "it wasn't too long of a walk anyway."

She stands up, making me take a good look at her outfit. I quickly turn to look to another direction as Takeshi starts to speak.

"Okay then, lets go!" He exclaims, then starts running off.

"He's too excited for this huh," Watanabe says, sighing in relief. "That's good then."

She walks ahead of me, then holds out her hand.

"We should probably catch up with him before we lose him." She says, smiling.

"You're probably right," I respond, smirking.

I grab the hand laying in front of me, and Watanabe and I start bolting after Takeshi, with me taking the lead.

For what seems like only a few seconds, we made our way to the huge arcade in the middle of some shopping stores.

Watanabe lets go of my hand as she walks up to Takeshi, who's astonished of how big the place looked. I stare at my hand, but quickly shake my head.

"Is this the place Iwasaki?" She asks politely.

However, her kind gesture's given only a soft 'yes' and a turn away.

I sigh, then walk up to where they are.

"Well, let's get in and start," I say, trying to push us forward to what we actually wanted to do in the first place.

They both nod, and we walk inside.

It's filled with so many games, from crane games, to the new and popular online shooter games, to just the simple Dance Dance Revolution and Street Fighter.

I look towards Watanabe, her eyes are wide, probably suprised of all the games here.
On the other hand, Takeshi's already at the game machine, getting himself a game card. I lightly wack Watanabe on the head to snap her back to reality.

"We need to get game cards, so you can actually play the games, and not stare at them." I josh her.

"Oh shut up," she says with an embarrassed expression on her face.

She lightly slaps me as I lead her to the machine. Slowly I explain her the process of game cards and how to use them.

"Just make sure you don't spend so many credits too quickly, there's 200 in there, so be wise in what you want to play."

She nods, "Okay."

Then, Takeshi pops into our conversation. "Let's have a contest to see who can get the most tickets!"

I don't answer instantly, however Watanabe agreed with him quickly. "Yeah! I think it would be fun."

I sigh, then nod. "Sure," I say, "Why not?"

"Okay it's settled," He plans, "we meet back here in an hour or so and compare our game cards."

"Just to be sure," Watanabe interrupts, "tickets are what you win from games?"

I answer, "Correct, though some games don't give tickets, like crane games, so be careful in what you pick."

She nods, and Takeshi yells, "Let's begin!"

With that, we went our separate ways.

For a fact, I know Takeshi would go to Skee Ball, Basketball, etc, because he's good with sports, so it's easy for him to get tickets. I'm the same, but I decide I'll try something different this time.

Besides, I'm unsure if Watanabe knew what she was doing.

So basically, like a stalker, I follow her. She wanders around, looking at the games that surround her, until she came across one game that seemed that she had an interest in.

Galaga : New Edition.

"Prez, I know your there, can you teach me how to play?"

I sigh, but I'm not even suprised. I got up from where I am and stand in front where the game screen displays its title.

"Basically," I start, "you have a spaceship and you need to shoot down all the aliens in front of you, you'll see what I mean once the game starts. If they destroy you, it's game over."

She mumbles, "...terrible explanation...." Then, she makes her voice sound clear. "But, I think I get it."

She swipes her card, and presses start.

At first, she loses her 2 lives in less than five seconds, saying only 'oh' as her reaction. However, with her last life, she begin to play like a pro. Her moves became very precise, as her score begins to increase further and further.

Then finally, the insect like enemies were too much for her to handle, and the screen displayed 'Game Over'.

"Prez, what does it mean when it says, 'select characters'?'"

I reply, "It means you placed in the top 10, and it wants to put your name on the leaderboard."

"I can't think of anything though, its only 3 spaces. Oh I know!"

When she says that she puts in three letters.
M, A, and W.

I stare at the screen, unsure of what the phrase means, "MAW?"

"It's my initials, don't worry about it."

"Oh, um, okay." I say. She has a middle name?
I look at what place she got, then jump in shock. First?? How even-?

"Anyway," she says, changing the subject. "What game should we play next? I kind of picked so its your turn."

"Oh okay, how about...that one?" I point to the game called 'Crossy Road.'

"Sure," she replies, smiling, as we walk over to the arcade machine.

"All you have to do is tap the button and jump as far as you can without getting hit by cars and stuff. You can't stay in the same place for a while either." I describe.

"Oh okay," she responds. Then she gets confused when she sees me swipe my card too.

"I get to play too, you know," I reply to her confusion, "and I'm gonna get to 100 faster than you."

All of a sudden, a fire starting burning up within Watanabe, It's scary, but very amusing to see.

"You wish," she taunts, and presses start.

Authors note: I felt like people were not reading my stories because it was really long, so I'm breaking Ch. 5 into 2 parts. It makes me feel bad that people are spending time and effort making and writing stories, and people are pushing it away because it's too long. Well, it is how it is. Anyway, thank you for reading!
