No No No No NO NO NONONONONO! High school people already. This is not good... But you know what Sarah, you're going to deal with it. You don't have another choice, do you? Yeah, that is what I thought. Just smile, and be nice. Don't blush. You'll be fine. You don't have any acne today and this new lipstick really makes you look nice. Oh for my sake, why are you lying to yourself. Just be who you have always been and hopefully things go the right way.
"Um, hey..." I whispered. Wow Sarah, you couldn't be any more annoying.
"Hey! Look, we are both new, and why not start on the right foot?" Smiling, blue eyed boy stretched out his hand and waited for me to shake it, asking me to call him Percy. Yes! At least it's the two other newbies I had heard about. How lucky am I? Smiling back, I shook his hand and went to reach for the other guy in the crutches, introducing himself as Grover.
"So, what grade you going into?" Grover questioned.
"Freshmen. You guys?" I answered.
"Same here," called out Percy. "And to be honest, I couldn't be more scared to enter a school full of people we don't know." He scratched his head nervously, grinning while he was at it.
"Yeah, especially with you around. I mean, you attract all kinds of—" Grover got interrupted by an elbow punching him in the arm.
But before I could ask what that whole situation was about, the bus arrived. Not that I cared anyways.
