I wanted to laugh from his stupidity, but he was talking about my parents. The parents that left me. The parents that died because of some psycho in a car.
"Don't you dare bring them into this! My parents aren't even alive. You don't even know what it feels to go through a childhood of loneliness without someone to give you advise. To give you a shoulder to cry on. I only told you a little bit about myself so don't come to me telling me this nonsense! You barely know me!"
He grinned, which just made angrier than I already was. "I don't need to know you to know who your dad was."
"Oh, my gosh who even gave you the right for you to talk like that. Do you seriously think you are smart?"
Grover nodded to my response. "Dude, she does have a point. Remember when you were in school and all you got was—" Percy interrupted him.
"That's not the point! Grover, we have to take her home!" Percy was starting to get just as flustered as I was.
"What do you mean by 'take her home?'" I questioned. "Wait, are you guys planning to kidnap me or something? Look, I need to find my class before the bell rings, I'll see you guys—" Percy interrupted, again.
"No, we don;t want to kidnap you. It's just that you happen o be a Half-Blood."
Now my laughter started to come back again. "Again, do you expect for me to believe that?"
"No, but you need to let me explain. We are from—" Screams interrupted Percy.
"Hey!" I screamed at a random person running around. "What's going on?"
He shivered before answering. "There is a lady in the entrance with snakes as hair. She already turned someone into stone. It's like she came out of a Greek Mythology book or something!" And he ran away with screams.
Normally, I would be one of those people who just go with it and scream to the nearest safe place. But this time, I just stood there with Percy and Grover. Maybe they are telling me the truth. Or maybe this is just a dream. And if it is a dream, I'm going to make it the best dream I have.
