"Percy, we have to get out of here!" Grover tugged at Percy
"Wait, I thought she was dead! What is going on?" As Percy talked, he grabbed my right hand with his left hand and took out a pen from his right back pocket with his right hand. "Sarah, we have to get out of here! Right now!"
I noticed that there was no time to argue. But I knew I was going to argue everything once this was all over with. We started to get ourselves out of the school, but I felt something tugging my left leg. I was too scared to look down, but my instinct made me look down.
"AGHHHHHHHH!!!" I screamed my heart out at the top of my lungs.
Percy then lets go of my hand making him and Grover turn around to see what was I was screaming about. "Sarah!" He then uncapped his pen and then tried to slash the snake with his pen. But what I didn't notice until the last minute is that the pen he uncapped had turned into a very large and beautiful pen. Unfortunately for me and Percy, he missed the snake. And of course, the snake got all defensive and bit my ankle. It hurt a little bit, like a tiny pinch. Then, the snake backed up backward and left into darkness. I wast starting to feel a little dizzy, but I made sure to keep standing tall.
"Sarah, are you okay?" Percy asked me, grabbing my shoulder.
"She won't be for long." An unfamiliar voice called out from the darkness the snake left through.
Percy then lets go of me, and glanced at Grover, telling him to help me stay put. Grover came to my aid, and Percy stepped forward, getting close to the border where the darkness met the rest of the hallway.
"If I had manners, I would say the same thing about you Jackson. But last time we met you slayed my head off!" She was starting to get really pissed. And not only was her tone pretty clear, but it was the crazy snakes on her head that started showing some emotion as well. "Anyways Jackson, I don't have any business with you for today. You aren't as special as you think you are"
"Ha! That's what Sarah said a couple of minutes ago." Grover interrupted, which made us all three glanced at him a stare that made him realize it was way too soon for those type of jokes.
"I'm here for Sarah you see. She is, how do I put it, unique. Not only does she have the power of your sweet little daddy, but of another goddess as well." Medusa murmured.
"What is up with people bring up my parents today?" I asked. "They both died such a long time ago, can't people understand that?"
Medusa giggled a little before answering my questions. "Sweetheart, can you please stop being so stupid for once? Didn't Percy already explain this to you? Sweetheart, you've gotta stop being so stubborn."
"At least not as stubborn as those snakes of yours"
She laughed it off. "I would love to kill you, but that won't be my job. See, you are a little threat to me and to every person that hates Gods. I'm just here to try and make you understand our side of the story. The mighty Gods aren't as good as you think they are, you know?
Percy spoke. "What do you mean? My dad and so many other Gods try to protect the world from your freaks!"
"Hm, that's not all entirely true. But, Sarah will do her best to explain that to you."
"What do you mean? Why would I want to help out monster like you? You guys are just... Just..." I wasn't able to finish my sentence when I started to feel nauseous and really tired. And before I realized, I collapsed and blacked out.
