Despite the protests of his father Justin decided to start school today. He was tired and would have appreciated some more time to sleep but he was determined to start his life here in stratford. Starting with going to school and making new friends.

He joined his dad downstairs in the kitchen where the older man was sipping on some coffee as he lazily read over the weekly newspaper. Justin smiled as he entered the room and he headed over to the fridge to grab himself a bottle of water.
"I still think that you should at least stay home for today. You haven't even packed your stuff away yet." Dayton chuckled as he set his newspaper down and stared over at Justin as the teenager closed the fridge shut and turned, leaning against it.

He shook his head as he opened the bottle.
"I'm already going to behind at school with the move. I wanna hurry and get back to things." Justin replied as he took a quick drink, letting the water chill his mouth for a second before he swallowed. His father nodded as he fixed his newspaper and brought it back up so that he could read it.
"Well I'm glad that you're focused at least." He smiled over his paper and Justin nodded, a small smile resting on his lips as he closed the lid onto his bottle and then set it down on the counter.
"Well I should be going. Don't want to be late on my first day." He spoke nervously as he stepped away from the fridge and around to where he had set his backpack down by the door.

His dad looked over at him and nodded.
"Have a good day, call me if you need anything. It's my day off so don't think you're bothering me." He grinned and Justin nodded along with the words as he leaned over and pulled on the door handle so the door swung open.
"I'll be totally cool today but I will call if I need you." He told him and he watched his dad smile as his reply before he walked out of the door, uttering one last goodbye to his dad as he left.

When Justin reached the gates of Stratford high he could already hear the sound of the bell and he could see the large masses of students as they all walked inside the building for the school day to start.

He stopped at the gate and allowed himself to catch his breath. He had ran most of the way after getting lost. He even had to ask for directions from some old lady on mainly spoke Spanish and Justin had a hard time translating but he managed to figure it out.

He licked his lips as he straightened his posture and ran his hand through his styled hair as he began to walk inside the school so that he wouldn't be too late. It was his first day, surely they would give him a break.

When he finally stepped inside the school he grinned at the warm air that surrounded him. The cold air of Stratford was a change from the heat of LA and Justin was still getting used to it. He gripped the straps of his backpack and began to walk down the empty hallway in an attempt to find the main office so that he could find out where he was going.
