Chapter 1

You:
"This is all going to be new for me."

Your Boyfriend:
"What do you mean?"

You:
"I mean, I'm so used to living only with my dad...."

Your Boyfriend:
"Well it's all going to be the same except now you're going to be living with his fiancé and her son."

You:
"I guess...."
You looked down and your boyfriend stopped walking and looked at you.

Your Boyfriend:
"What's really wrong?"

You:
"My dad's fiancé is nice and everything but I just don't know....
And I don't really want to share the house with MORE people..... And plus I don't even know her son!"

Your Boyfriend:
"When are they supposed to be moving in?"

You:
"Today😕...."

Your Boyfriend:
"Maybe it won't be too bad...."

You:
"Yeah maybe you're right."

Your boyfriend pulled you in for a kiss, grabbed your hand and you both continued to walk.

(TIME SKIP)

You reached home to see a "moving" truck right in front of our house.
You look at your boyfriend and he could tell by your expression that you weren't too happy. 😑
You looked at him and gave him an "I'm okay" smile.

Your Boyfriend:
"Call you later?"

You nodded and you both pulled each other in to give one last kiss and then you watched him walk away.

Your Dad's fiancé:
"Y/N?! Is that you?"

You nodded and she hugged you as if she hasn't seen you in forever when you met her like 2 days ago....

You:
"You need any help moving in?"
I asked out of respect....

Your Dad's fiancé:
"That would be really helpful!"

You smiled and walked over to the "moving" truck.
As you approached it, you could see a guy figure. However you couldn't see his face as his back was towards you...

You:
"Need help with that?"
The guy turned around and now you could fully see his face.
To be honest, you'd be lying if you said he wasn't cute. But he was going to be your new Step Brother....

???:
"Ah! S-sure...."
He looked down and made no eye contact with you whatsoever..... Off the bat, you could tell he was super shy.
He passes you a box, still not looking at you.

You:
What's your name?"

Jungkook:
"J-Jeon Jungkook...."

You:
Well my name is Y/N! ☺️
Just off of body language, you could tell he was very uncomfortable...
He just nods and walks away without saying anything else.
Well that was rude. He left you there speechless and dumbfounded...
As you made your way back into the house, you saw your Dad's fiancé looking at you

Your Dad's Fiancé:
Sorry...... He's just a little shy around girls...
I nodded and made my way to my room.

(IN MY ROOM)

I lay down on the bed scrolling through Instagram till...
*KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK*

You:
"Come in"
I glance at the door to see my Dad standing right there..
You:
"Oh hey Dad!"
He shuts the door behind him and sits on my bed.
Dad:
"How do you feel about all this?"
You:
"It's just all so different...."
He nodded and you keep looking at him.
Dad:
"Trust me, things will get better in no time."
You:
"Let's hope so!"
He smiles as he gets of the bed and walks towards the door.
