"Justin Drew." I warned him as I tried to concentrate on my homework.
"Y/n m/n." He mocked me and giggled.
"Justin freaking stop." I whined as his finger jabbed into my side once again.
"Gosh you're grouchy." He mumbled under his breath and walked over to the couch to sit down.
"I'm sorry I'm just stressed out. This whole thing is due tomorrow and there's like nothing done." I tried to elaborate my grouchiness.
"It's fine. I gotta go anyways. I'm meeting someone." I snapped my head around at his statement.
"And you didn't tell me? Your best friend?" He looked down and rubbed the back of his neck.
"She's uhm, I don't know if you'll like her." He spoke honestly.
"Okay well it's too late now so who is she?" I raised my eyebrows.
"It's um.. I can't tell you Y/n." He looked away from my gaze. "Go and finish your work and we can talk about this later."
"Oh no no no. Not happening. If I'm gonna dislike her so much, why are you even gonna see her Jay? I'm like a permanent part of your life." He shrugged his shoulders.
"It's Selena." He mumbled barely audible.
"Say that one more time let me make sure I heard you right." I stepped closer to his tall frame.
"Selena. I'm going to see Selena Y/n." He looked at me. Tears formed in my eyes.
"O-oh." My voice cracked and I looked away unable to finish saying what I really needed to say.
"Why are you crying?" I felt like an idiot when I heard those words come out of his mouth.
"I'm not. I'm fine. Just go and have fun." I looked at him giving him the best fake smile I could.
"Y/n..." he trailed off unsure what to say.
"Jay, I'm fine. Go have fun. If you want to see her again, that's fine. You're my best friend. I support whatever decisions you make." I smiled.
"Well I'm not going anywhere until you tell me."
"Justin give it up!" I yelled. I quickly realized what I did and my cheeks turned blood red.
"Y/n, please don't be like this. I'm here for you. Anything you need." He stepped closer to me. A son erupted from my threat.
"Justin I really can't tell you. I'm sorry." I looked at him and my heart broke.
"Please please tell me." He spoke barely above a whisper. His face slowly inched closer to mine. "I love you Y/n." He said it so quietly I wondered if he'd even said it at all.
"You what?" His face grew with concern.
"Oh god sorry. I screwed up." He panicked.
"Justin, I thought you just said you were going to see her." I emphasized her instead of saying her name.
"To tell her things are over and that I love someone else. You..." he trailed off waiting for my reaction.
"Oh thank god." I said causing him to give me a confused look. "That's what I couldn't tell you." I whispered, embarrassed of the previous events that took place.
"What?" He pushed for me to elaborate.
"I love you." I said simply.
"Wow we are literally both so dumb. How did neither of us know?" I giggled.
"I don't even know but I'm glad we know now." I said making him smile.
"Me too." He leaned close before kissing my lips like I've always wanted.
"God I love you. Now please go break up with your girlfriend so we can love a happy life." I said as we both laughed.
"On it babydoll."
