I sat on the couch wiping my running nose once again. Today was the day Justin was supposed to come home from tour and I wanted to be the one to pick him up from the airport. Somehow he had found out I was sick and told me to wait at home and he'd have his driver bring him. He assured me over and over that it was fine and he'd be home by 9:30pm.
Hey baby. Leaving the airport now I'll see you in like 30 minutes I love you.
I read his text message and smiled sending back a quick I love you more. I decided to watch some Greys anatomy while I waited. A whole episode had finished and there was no sign of my boyfriend. I checked my phone and found no texts saying he was caught in traffic or anything. I decided to call him and make sure he was okay. After one ring I was sent straight to voicemail. I sighed and decided to keep waiting.
30 more minutes went by and I became panicked. I decided to call again. Once again I was sent straight to voicemail. I decided to call Scooter and ask for the drivers number who was supposed to get J. He gave it to me and I called once again getting absolutely no answer. Finally my phone lit up and i looked down reading unknown number across the screen. I answered praying it was Justin.
"Is this Y/n?" I heard a lady ask.
"Yes ma'am. Can I help you?" I asked confused as to why someone was calling so late.
"We have Justin. He's been in an accident. We're at the hospital off 77." I quickly thanked her shoving a pair of shoes on my feet and running out the door to my car. I got in driving towards the hospital. My whole body was numb.
Was he okay?
Is he gonna live?
Oh god he can't die. We're supposed to get married and have babies. I don't know a life without him.
So many thoughts ran through my head as I drove wrecklessly towards the hospital. I arrived almost 15 minutes later and quickly parked running in the emergency room.
"Justin Bieber!! Where is his room?" I said panicked to the lady at the front desk.
"Honey I can't let any fans back there." She gave me a smile.
"I'm not a damn fan I'm his girlfriend. Let me back there!" I was in panic mode.
"O-oh. Okay. Room 206." She nodded. I ran through the doors and searched for his room. I soon realized I had passed it somewhere along the way and turned around trying to calm myself enough to find the right room.
"Oh god." I said as I read the numbers. I didn't hesitate to open the door and barge in. I found 2 nurses standing around his limp body. "Oh baby-" the tears began pouring out as I rushed to his side. "My baby, oh no, Jay I'm sorry." I sobbed.
"Miss? I'm his nurse. I'm sorry about his accident." One of the girls spoke softly with a sympathetic smile. I gave a small nod of appreciation. "He's had some medicine that'll make him rest for awhile so his body can heal. Not enough to be a medically induced coma but he'll probably sleep about 15 hours. I'll be back to check on him each hour. You're welcome to stay the night and let me know if you need anything at all." She explained and I nodded thanking her. They both exited the room and I turned to Justin's body.
"Justin? I know you might not be able to hear me but I'm here babe. I love you." I spoke softly as I looked at all the wires hooked to his body.
The next morning I woke up in the very uncomfortable chair. By 11am, it seemed like every member of the family had been by.
I looked at his bruised face after everyone had left and touched his cheek softly. "Wake up whenever you're ready baby. I'm here." I whispered. His eyes began to flutter and he struggled to try and lift his eyelids.
"Y/n?" He groaned out after taking a few minutes to try and come to.
"Yes baby. I'm here. You're okay." I said as I sat on the edge of the hospital bed and grabbed his hand.
"I'm sorry." He muttered out. His voice was so raspy from all the sleep.
"You have nothing to be sorry for. You want some water? I can have the nurse bring another cup. I don't want you to drink after me since I'm sick." He nodded his head so I stepped into the hallway finding the new nurse for today and asked for a water after letting her know that Justin was awake. In no less than 5 minutes, she came in followed by the doctor.
"Justin! Goodmorning! We brought some water. It's nice to see you awake this morning." The doctor said brightly reaching out to shake his hand. Justin weakly shook his hand and gave a slight nod accepting the water from the nurse.
"Here babe." I said as I helped him take a sip of it.
"Goodmorning sir. Thank you." His voice sounded less raspy.
"So I know you've just came to but I want to talk to you about the extent of your injuries. The most major one was the dislocated knee cap. Which is great news. Everything else was mostly scrapes and bruises. You did have a laceration to your right forearm. We stitched it up last night and relocated the knee cap. I want to run a few more tests today and make sure everything is good inside. If everything comes back looking good, you should be able to go home by tomorrow afternoon!" He explained.
"Oh that's so good to hear!" I said before Justin could respond.
"Thank you sir. Thank you so much." Justin said shaking his hand once again.
"Of course. Please let us know if you need anything and we can get your tests set up shortly!" We both gave a nod and he and the nurse left.
"Oh baby. I'm so glad you're okay." I sniffled as tears filled my eyes. "I love you so much." I said as I looked at him.
"Baby girl, please don't cry. I'm okay. I love you so so much." I leaned down gently wrapping my arms around him.
"You can't ever do this to me again. I can't ever lose you." I said into his chest.
"I promise baby. I love you." He kissed my forehead and I pushed my lips to his.
"I love you."
