"Hi baby." you heard Justin's voice as he entered your bedroom. He had a key to your apartment and you had one to his, but you guys weren't quite ready to move in with one another. Today was your 1 year anniversary and Justin was taking you out for dinner.
"Hey babe. I'll be ready soon. Give me like 10 more minutes." you smiled sticking your head out of the bathroom to greet your boyfriend.
"Okay. That's fine. Take your time." he smiled sitting down on your bed and playing some game on his phone.
You sprayed some hairspray on your freshly curled hair and began to finish up applying your make up. You blended a small amount of glitter on top of your brown eyeshadow look and applied some mascara. You swiped on some lipgloss and walked into your room to put on your outfit. You glanced down at Justin's outfit and noticed he was wearing only a grey tshirt with some black jeans. He was dressed nice but not fancy. You decided to do the same.
After pulling your casual black dress over your head, it fell to about your mid thigh. You slid on a pair of cute brown sandals and put in some pearl earrings.
"Ready?" Justin asked as you sprayed on your favorite perfume and grabbed your phone off the charger.
"Yes! Let's go!" you grinned excitedly grabbing his hand as he stood up off your bed.
"You look so pretty." he grinned kissing your lips softly.
"Hm, I could say the same for you." you mumbled against his lips smirking.
"Cmon. Let's go pretty girl." He pulled you down the stairs and out the front door to his car. After unlocking the doors, he opened yours for you and even shut it behind you.
"Wow what a gentleman." you giggled after he climbed in the driver side. He chuckled and started the car. He pulled out of your driveway and started down the road.
"So where exactly are we going?" you ask intertwining your fingers with his.
"Dinner. Your favorite place ever." he grinned.
"I love you oh my god" you grinned after you realized where he was driving to. He was taking you to Olive Garden which happened to be your most favorite restaurant in the whole world. He pulled into the parking lot and found a parking spot. He parked and he helped you out of the car once again.
----After finishing dinner, you and Justin walked out to the car together. It was dark out now so all the street lights and store signs were lit up.
"Thanks for dinner Jay." you smiled squeezing his hand before he opened your car door.
"Thanks for being the best year of my life." he grinned pecking your lips.
"You're amazing. I love you so much." you said wrapping your arms around his waist.
"I love you more." he smiled kissing your forehead. "Now what do you say we go home and watch movies and cuddle?" he raised an eyebrow.
"Sounds great. But, let's go to your house. It's big and mines small. Plus your couch is comfier." you grinned pulling out of his embrace.
"Sounds like a plan." he grinned opening your door. You climbed in and Justin walked to the other side doing the same. He drove to his house and you excitedly jumped out of the car racing him to his front door. You both giggled and he unlocked the door and you both stepped inside.
"Hm clothes?" his voice asked behind you.
"Please." you followed him up the hid staircase to his bedroom. He pulled out a tshirt and handed it to you. You slipped your dress over your head and pulled Justin's tshirt on. He had already changed into sweats and was waiting to go downstairs when you looked up. He reached out grabbing your hand and pulled you downstairs. You say down on the couch while Justin went picked up the remote turning Netflix on and then grabbed the big fuzzy blanket you two always shared. You had bought it a few months ago and just left it at his house.
"Oh I almost forgot!" he jumped up before his body even reached the couch. He came back from the kitchen holding a white cardboard cake box. "I got us these today! I ordered them a few weeks ago." he smiled opening the box revealing tie dyed cupcakes from you and his favorite local bakery.
"Awh Jay you're so sweet." you grinned as his sat down on the couch beside you.
"I love you beautiful. Thanks for such an amazing year. I can't wait for more." he smiled at you.
"Me either." you grinned pressing your lips to his soft pink ones.
"Here." he handed you a cupcake from the middle of the box that looked a little different than the others. "Special cupcake for my special baby girl." he grinned picking up one of his own. You began licking the icing off like you always do when you felt something metal hit your tongue. You pulled it out to reveal that it was a key.
"A key?" you looked at Justin confused.
"I was thinking maybe you could move in? I know you already have a key but you don't officially live here yet and I'm ready to change that if you are." he looked at you with his big brown eyes.
"I think that sounds like a great idea." you grinned and kissed him again.
"Happy one year baby girl." he mumbled against your lips.
"Happy one year baby." you smiled against his mouth and kissed him again. Justin was definitely the one.
