"You're okay, I'm right here"
Obviously, she hates when I leave at night. I don't know what exactly goes through her mind when I leave at night, but it's not good. Maybe a bad dream caused it a few years back or she's seen something in a movie when she was supposed to be asleep.
About 30 minutes later I got Alli to sleep. My roommates and their girlfriends came into the living room, quietly whispering to talk to me.
"You got her to sleep?" Elton asked I nodded.
"She loves you, Colby, so much, earlier when I did her hair she talked about you the whole time," Devyn smiled," she talked about how you put her to bed every night and what you tell her if she's missing you or anything."
"You're her favorite person standing, her role model, you're her everything" Devyn looked at the small, but happy, family.

"Yeah, I know" Colby whispered to himself and looked at the girl.
She's his everything. The only person, besides Sam, who even cared about Colby. Sure, you could say "well that's his kid" but kids don't always love their parents. Especially the way Allison does. She'll do anything in her power, to great measures and all, to make sure Colby is happy and smiling. She's the reason Colby started a job at a young age, she's the one who made Colby.
Sounds weird but Colby was quiet and was bullied. When Allison came in and they moved to L.A it was a great fresh start. Colby probably wouldn't have moved if he didn't have the girl. Colby was more outgoing and talked to everyone he could.
They need each other for everything. Colby wouldn't function correctly and would go insane without her, as for Alli, she depends on Colby. She needs him for everything, she's just four so she needs all the help she can get. Colby helps her with everything, he doesn't want her to become a social media star, he wants her to become more than that. More than a picture, and something she can go down leaving an amazing story. But if she does, she'll just be following her fathers steps.
"We should get going before she wakes up again", Sam said and everyone agreed.
Colby stood up and looked at the girls who were gonna take care of his prized possession. "Anything happens, call me immediately, I'm not joking," Colby told the girls seriously.
Colby is very sweet and a great person to be friends with, just don't do anything that'll hurt his daughter in any way. He is very serious when leaving her with anyone, he's even threatened someone before. He doesn't look very tuff and mean but push the buttons about talking about Alli, he'll break you into two. His roommates are even scared of pranking him about her, except Sam has a bit of a thing in doing it, because they know Colby will torture them and feed them to dogs.
"Yeah, we'll call" Kat nodded and Colby thanked the two, in a nicer tone than before.

Sam, Corey, Elton, Amanda, and Colby got into the car and took off to the bridge they were all terrified of. They truly believed the bridge was haunted, or someone was messing with them every single time.
Colby got the seat behind the passenger and looked out the window as everyone talked. The crying and pleads from Alli hit him hard today, he doesn't know why though. Usually, he'll stay for five minutes and then leave but he stayed for a half an hour this time.
