Moving forward, take a step
A tiresome and shaky breath
With none to lose yet none to gain
Frequent the emotions rain

Endless feelings, none at all
Despite the effort, I still fall
I try but fail, yet still keep going
Previous fools are now all knowing

Hide, let go, give up, continue
Choices, choices, it's nothing new
Insides mixed up, outside's tough
Still all I give is not enough

Aim high, no, higher, even more
This daily life always a bore
Repeat the days, repeat the words
Gain a blessing, gain a curse

Be nice, have patience, always kind
Hide a broken soul and mind
Mend the gaps and fill the holes
Just persevere, fulfil your role

Regretting all the worst mistakes
How many chances will I take?
For all life's wins, make your skin paper
Cut and cut, it will heal later

Fake or real there's still an issue
Thinking, thinking, will they miss you?
Life is precious, if it's not then
Do you really think you'll be forgotten?

Do you matter? Would they care?
Are you a burden that they bear?
Weakling, monster, useless, fool
Should you believe these words are true?

I hope you'll listen, please do hear;
So many people hold you dear
Strong and different, smart and nice
Do you dare say these words are lies?

If you don't mind, I'd like to ask
If you could stop wearing that mask
Covering up the truth that's hidden
Because of the world that we live in

Be yourself, be who you are
Find that hope is not that far
Though the world may think it's wrong
Never stop singing your song

It doesn't matter if you're strange

It's not you who has to change.
