I Wish

I wish, that I, was lucky
Lucky enough to be noticed
By celebrities
In far away countries

I wish, that I, could be,
Be with all the people, fake or real,
On the TV screens
If you get what I mean

I wish, that people knew me
So I could do so much more
To make them smile
Flatter them with my style

I wish, that I was friends,
Friends with the people
Who are loved by all...
People big and small

So people could love me too.

I wish, I wish, I wish
That one day my wishes come true
I hoped, I prayed, I begged
For that day to come, and I promise to bring you too

I watched, as so many,
Many people being noticed,
Being seen,
And hanging with VIPs

I cried, silently as I,
Waited patiently for my turn
To have the spotlight
But I know that I'm alright

With the how things are right now

Yet I, still wish, still pray
That I could be somebody's idol one day
But I know, I know, its true
That my petty life could never be that way
